I can definitely see Iratus both sending the Academy's location to the Banished as well as sending them all the info he gathered about the Spartan program. This could potentially lead to the Banished designing Mjolnir plating, among other things and distributing it to their troops. This may have even been hinted at with the AAP/HEARTPLATE chest attachment description for the Rak core which reads "Banished battleplate is not quite as sophisticated as top-of-the-line Mjolnir armor panels.... yet." Also, I'll say that when infection comes out (which this cutscene is clearly teasing) in season 4 almost definitely, it'll be a better plotline involving the simulations that actually has stakes and a purpose to it. Though I really don't like the simulation story, this infection thing will be a far better display of it than anything we've gotten so far. Saying this, though, I am hoping that very soon here, we move away from the sim plot and start shifting more towards something like the Banished invading the academy, where we fight them in non-simulated maps. Playing multiplayer as a plot point isn't extremely appealing, as it doesn't really go anywhere. Something akin to firefight or some kind of Spartan Ops thing would be great. Not that it's required to do it, as they can do it with the existing maps, but having top-tier forgers make canon Spartan Ops levels as missions we can play? That'd be a fantastic live-service story content avenue they could and should do. I think it'd be the best way to give people story content with some more substance to it.
