Wait... these are new cutscenes? I don't play Infinite anymore, but I stay up to date on any narrative content coming out, and I definitely saw these cinematics aaaages ago. I just thought it was the end of the previous season. So, Season 3 hasn't even gone any further than this, storywise?

1:17 Judging by the sound of things, it looks like this was a site of integral purpose to The Spartan Program… Possibly ALL of them. And _now_ The Banished might just have a grip on ALL the classified information stored there.

@rainplayzz I just know that this is the infection form for the player in the game mode from what I have seen. Firefight is in early development, I believe. Infection is basically done.

Most likely in lore yes but knowing 343 they won’t add the flood back because they hate the flood and will not bring them back since halo is now too “family friendly” now

@@ProOmega-09 that’s not the case, it wouldn’t make sense in the lore side of things. And knowing the narrative direction they’re going for. Each game mode will have its own significance to the plot. Such as firefight. Firefight will possibly be a result of the banished invading the academy or ur Spartan getting shipped out, imprisoned and having to fight off hoards beyond hoards of banished. That could also play into an extended campaign, where chief finds u and requests assistance.

@@beyondthesmp8972 minus the imprisonment part, that sounds pretty cool, I would say just make it to where the odds are against you, and now you have the choice to play as your spartan in the campaign, only if.
