God, I love this game.

Neebs reminds me of when your mom used to make you play the game with your little brother. Neebs, "Am i helping?", long pause, Appsro, "Sure."

This series means we're one step closer to "Halo Friends."

These guys have no clue how much we love to hear their voices watching you “do your best” for 2 hours is our pleasure

To clear it up, I don't think people are watching this for gameplay, but rather just to "hang out" with the neebs crew and enjoy them being themselves. I'm here to watch these guys ride the struggle bus all day. Changing settings, playing musical chairs with bathroom breaks, whatever, I love it. My favourite content is usually the unedited stuff, or the random tangents, or when they're terrible at things😂

The trial and errors in this has been hilarious and just makes it more exciting once y'all finally over come it.

If anyone said you weren't on Legendary because of the respawning thing, they're mistaking Legendary for LASO, or Legendary All Skulls On. Some people forget that you can play LNSO since most people don't do that anymore as it's not as impressive. Imo though, it's just fine. Glad to see ya'll continuing this though, and especially you Neebs sticking through it. It's always a magical feeling seeing someone without any prior exposure experience one of your favorite things.

I love this.. The nostalgia these videos hit is insane..just having dumb fun with friends.. Not many games these days give you those feels.

I'm good with watching Neebs play It Takes Two again but I feel if they could get Dora and Simon to experience it for the first time would be more entertaining. Hearing Neebs and Thick genuinely enjoy that game for the first time was the highlight of those videos

nnnniiiiccccceeeee this is oddly enjoyable. i think it's the nostalgia of playing co-op with my cousin back in the day when this came out also, that part on the ship is a pretty hard section to get through, ample use of grenades as they exit the doors can help! watch those trackers or game over man, game over!!!!

I feel like Neebs underestimate how much we love them and to see all aspects of what they do, not just the good and edited, is just as appreciated. We all know the struggles when you're in a spot like this in games, as long as they have fun in general it's all good!

Halo armor melts fast in the books, but not in the game. Those plasma guns can melt through ships, guns, armor, etc. The Mjolinr armor has a gel layer, computer layer, then the armor. Footsteps could actually be very quiet, but those overheated guns would absolutely be able to heat up hands.

In halo 2, when one person dies on legendary you go back to the last checkpoint but that's the only game that does it that way.

Dumb bit of knowledge for ya. Sniper shots are based on the original graphics reticle. That shot against the maroon elite made me remember it. Can't remember if any other weapons are based on the original graphic reticles. Don't know if it is a bug or just a limitation of having to graphics running in tandem. Love this dumpster series so far, thank y'all for playing it!

Appsro is right about the little bottlenecks in this game on legendary. I hope Neebs isn't worried too much about boring the audience. This is pretty much how most of us experienced the Co-op legendary difficulty. As long as you guys are interested in spending some of your after hours playing this I'm betting we'll be here as well. I'm hopeful for 2 and 3 especially. Halo 2 is the one where both players revert to checkpoint when one dies on legendary by the way. We used to say heroic is the new legendary.

The ole Truth and Reconciliation great level

Just when you beat that room it still just felt like the beginning of the episode. That room is a pain in the arse on legendary compared to most levels but there are others. Don't give up Neebs, its going to be worth it.

No offense intended, but we don't watch Neebs Gaming or Neebs Magic Dumpster for stellar game play. We watch for the conversation, humor and idiocy of the players. I thought you already knew this Neebs.

Watching this series made me pick up my solo legendary play through of Halo the master chief collection. Currently half way through Halo 1. The struggle is real! Some road blocks take time but it's worth the payoff when you make it through and see that checkpoint pop-up. Keep up the good fight, the human race is depending on you to save us by making quality content like this! Thank you all for everything you do!

@44:32 Anthony nailed it. I think you gotta have fun with the powerful spartan feeling by playing on normal first. Then you can hit legendary with everything you learned. And it becomes an engaging challenge because now the tables turn and the enemy has the advantage. At most, (because it's coop) I'd probably start with me and my mate on veteran as a first time difficulty, before going legendary.

It's like a stream, but not a stream. It's pretty cool to have playing in the background.

I'm so happy to see you guys playing this. Halo was the game that got me into FPS, and it's still the greatest more than 20 years later. Your experience aboard the Truth & Reconciliation brings back so many memories. I think it took me a hundred deaths to get through it on Legendary the first time.

What people were remember was Halo 2. In Halo 2, when one dies, both people get reset. Halo CE did not have that. If yoiu guys decide to play it, buckle up. It is leagues harder than 1 or 3 on legendary

I know highly edited stuff is popular, but I really enjoy watching/listening to the struggle and slow progress. It also helps me track what's going on more easily, when there isn't a huge cut between just before when things got tough, and ultimate success. This series is a lot of fun!

These episodes give me a lot of sympathy for Simon.

Here is son Halo 1 tech that you can use while playing: 1- Ghost reload, If you double tap the reload button and then switch weapons the next time you pull out your weapon it will be fully loaded 2- Nade distance, When throwing a nade if you melee right before it goes out it will be propelled and go further and in a more straight line 3- Double melee a target, after you hit the melee button press the switch weapon button and the melee button again in fast succession and it will perform a double melee, when done right both attacks should do damage, if you do it too fast one of them may not do damage. 4- Fast reload, during the reload animation when you see the magazine touch the weapon you can melee and the weapon will be reloaded after the melee animation.

Please remember Tod. He fought well until he didn't.

What a blast

I always used the lil green gun because of ammo but it's probably the weakest gun in the game! The assault rifle sucks too. Get some needlers in them hands!
