Thank you for all that you did. My friend and I have been working through The Master Chief Collection and your guides have been crucial to overcoming some of the toughest challenges. I think the biggest thing I learned from this specific video (just got par score, thanks!) is to just be more confident. A lot of the time I find myself falling back fearing losing my shield, yet being a bit more ballsy usually gets me more kills, which means less people shooting at me. Hope you're doing well man.

five years later, but still the best guides you can find. I use to play for fun. since its 2020 I now have time to play for achievements, and your guides are awesome Thank you

Not sure how effective this may be with Mythic/Thunderstorm in play, but I found the Plasma Rifle tons better at taking down the Brutes shield than Plasma Pistol. They don't doge the shots, so they go down in a few hits with Tilt on. Then it's just BR Headshot.

8:29, I just tried this technique and after killing the Brute with the hammer I was like “well that was easy... time to get my invincibility!” *picks up flare* “oh dear...” 😂😂

I like to juggle the minigun over to the drones after activating the bomb. It's slower, but more reliable than sticking them.

This is way too tricky and luck based to be a good guide. I barely could kill the hammer brute on normal with this tactic (took a handful of tries to get out of the room alive, because flare). On heroic I just got massacred every time without even killing the hammer brute. Got the achievent on normal with a bunch more skulls on (2.3 multiplier) and a time of 28:37 (2:14 multiplier).

If you use the Jacked skull in the MCC you get an easy multiplier for this level, but you can't use the turret trick on the buggers

My score goes down dramatically after hitting the par time. How come yours doesn't?

He doesn't have competitive scoring shown--only regular scoring. The reason score goes down when you have competitive scoring selected is because the time multiplier is sliding down from 3 to 1 (and eventually 0) after par time has been exceeded. Competitive scoring shows your score in real time whereas standard scoring shows it before any score multipliers have been applies, including time. The one you select does *not* actually affect your score though--only how it is shown to you. I prefer competitive because it shows what your final score will be (and time to boot!). I know your comment is 5 years old, but hopefully my response can help someone else wondering the same thing.

Nah this is by far the hardest par score ive done. Took me 45 min on the 3rd attempt with 12000 points. I gave up for now. Marines just kept throwing grenades at me. I
