Communication is the biggest point for me, since I bought the game a few months ago and sank well over 100 hours in it I still haven't heard ANYONE in VC and text chat even though I have enabled them both Also the customisation is god damn abysmal, I don't want to grind five billion ugly cosmetics that I will never use to get what I actually want

I would also include some community modded maps. There are some awesome lore-friendly creations. Like an ODST-themed arena map for Halo 3

4 PLAYER CAMPAIGN FOR HALO 1 & 2

Funny you bring up some conversations around invasion! The forge community I am a part of has all said the same thing and we've gone back and added those team specific kill bounds to the dev maps, and made some other changes as well to help improve the balance! Plus we made 20+ invasion maps that are balanced and refined around the 6 v 6 gameplay Bungie intended. (different from the bombastic maps you see in the CGB with 10 falcons, 8 wraiths etc.) Look for the Anvil Invasion lobby being hosted in the CGB if you want to try a more balanced yet fresh invasion experience!

They said originally that they were going to try (T R Y) to add new cosmetics to Classic Halo 2. I want that. I know why they didn't, because touching Halo 2 destabilizes the Jenga tower of code Halo CE, 3, 4 and Reach is stacked on. However I had faith after the updates they could do it. I want to be able to play as an Honor Guard, Ranger Elite, Heretic, councilor or Arbiter Biped in multiplayer.

Look, I haven't played MCC mostly because every time I try to play on there something's busted and not working. Even though they've shown so much love for it. It seems like it's being only held together with rubber bands and duct tape. I love the franchise. I just feel like the love isn't there where it needs to be. 343 seems to be pissing on their own grave

I'm with you on this. Needs to make more maps for these games. It was really cool they added the cut Halo Online maps for Halo 3. Loved the Red vs Blue style of this.

At least some of the armors from infinite should be added along with some new armor in seasonal events and challenges or something. Original menu/ loading screens for each game are something I've been wanting for a long while also

H2A needs forge maps in matchmaking the most as it only has 7 dev maps, and I myself and other forgers I know have made some excellent maps for the game that could easily be in matchmaking.

I really do wish they'd restore the classic load screens. Every level is spoiled by the dumb arcade splash screens and the atmosphere is just missing.

I think the customization stuff is fine only because they didn’t put microtransaction and I didn’t have to grind super hard for the armor in OG reach. I do rather have them to be unlockable by part, though. Also allow to buy limited time armor pieces like the OG XBOX backpack and Mister Chief helmets. definitely splitscreen for PC. If balder gate 3 can do it, then there’s no reason why it isn’t included in PC MCC. It feels like most of their decisions are done through assumptions rather than actually listening to the community. Or, they’re purposefully not adding it to help increase sales of MCC and gamepass subs. Finally, a sense of community. MCC has zero of that (and to an extent, infinite) In 3 and Reach, old bungie would feature art, maps, and videos on the ingame ‘social media’ like thing. If it exists, then I couldn’t even find it. In addition, I don’t know if it’s a feature or if people are leaving but everytime a game ends, everyone gets replaced instead of keeping the people, which kinda sucks. (Or I’m just super unlucky that people leave anyways) There’s so many things we all wish were in MCC but I feel like all, not majority, won’t be answered.

I know its a long shot but I’d like them to add more armours to reach, just a few more helmets and shoulders like mkiv and CE mkv.

the biggest thing I'd like to see added into Halo MCC is allowing Elites to be customized more in Reach, and actually be playable in more than just half of Invasion. literally the only reason why I don't play Reach any more is because I'm so damn tired of playing as a Spartan and I just play Halo 3 nowadays almost entirely because you can actually play as an Elite with actual armor customization.

Also, since most people are now playing on larger FOVs, all the crosshairs in earlier games (CE, 2, 3, ODST) are now way too big. It makes the aiming feels off especially when using mouse and keyboard which have less bullet magnetism. 343 also changed Reach's falcon pilot camera (in one of the steam workshop update I believe) to a more laid back position. It's probably good for multiplayer, but now I can't aim my chin gun anymore in New Alexandria.

impliment optional of multiplayer spartans in campaigns and or even elite prefered. Or better we can pick multiplayer spartans form any of the different games. Imagine playing halo 2 with a reach spartan, a elite form 3 and a red master chief from 2

They should put Halo 5: Guardians in the MCC. People hated on its story, but it actually had really cool multiplayer and forge. I think that there would be a big influx of players if they just made it the actual complete Master Chief Collection.

I haven't seen ppl say this yet but ever since launch I've wanted options to create custom campaign playlists and a "random mission" option

I agree that Invasion should be put in the match composer, haven’t been able to get match on ranked since 2022. I also miss the original forge maps that came with ranked invasion. That being said I think 343 should add some of robinccs and rabids maps to the rotation.They’re awesome

At this point I think they need to add Invasion and Hardcore options to the match composer as these playlists are practically dead in Ranked, but hey, they won't do that now that they've ended support.

There are some graphical issues too in the campaign, its an old issue but its those asteroid mission defence turrets in halo 4, they do not fire when activated, im hoping they can fix it to restore the atmosphere of the in-mission sequences to be on par with how it was supposed to be on xbox 360.

I absolutely NEED 4 player campaign coop for halo 1-2 cause I have multiple buddies who haven't got to play halo. Idc if it wasn't built for it, it needs to happen

Cross-play campaign. I’ve always wanted to play reach or 2 with friends but a mix of PC and Xbox makes it impossible currently.

I know it's been said time and time again, but I wish for the original UIs in their full fuctionality and originality. Menus, and things such as the ingame friends list, clan, etc. halo 2 had on the original xbox, and if possible an option to replace the whole UI mcc ui with a set theme from any one of the games.

They still haven’t fixed the problem where the game does not save your screen resolution.

Crossplay for coop campaigns Dedicated servers for coop (the lag makes it very hard even on short distances and good internet) Splitscreen on PC Social features like map/mode veto, party up, etc Add commendations, since reach and h4 had them. Wouldnt be too hard to come up with something similar for the other games Extras section with a music player for the soundtracks, easy accessible links to all the halo media out there, etc (theres already a video player for all terminals and the H2A cutscenes, why not expanding it a little?)

They should add bots to multiplayer. That’s one feature that’s long overdue.

I just need the campaign input lag on coop to be fixed and I'd be happy. I've got my game modded to have the original menus and loading screens so I'm alright on that front.

General Kenobi I’ve been on PC off and on between consoles since 98 At this point in time the consoles will always be the priority. Infinite is the focus, for whatever reason. I have minimal issues playing either on PC. About to jump back to a console though.

I'm pretty sure 343 like 3 weeks ago said MCC wont be updated anymore. And they are focusing on the next halo game.

I miss playing Reach Invasion so much. The only way for me to play it is w/ the custom browser, but it doesn't feel the same as the official maps did (probably because they all take place on Forge World). Why does it have to be competetive exclusive?! I just want to play Invasion again.

MAP VOTING NETWORKING FIX FOR CO-OP CAMPAIGNS ON CONSOLE (HOLY MOLY EVERY CO-OP CAMPAIGN IS LAGGY/DELAYED ON XBOX, RUINS ANY EXPERIENCE NEW PLAYERS HAVE TRYING TO PLAY THE STORIES WITH THEIR FRIENDS)

They just need to add more Big team battle maps in halo 3 because that’s like what 99% of what real fans play nowadays pleasesssssssss

All we need is a mod-compatible server browser. That made Halo Custom Edition last longer than any other Halo title. Embrace immortality, join the modded playlist MCC.

A personal niche one for me, separate the weapon model orientated from the reticule, I prefer playing with the centred reticule but the weapon orientation attached to them generally looks awful, especially in Halo 2 and 3.

Modding on console. That’s all it needs

I always just play modded campaigns now so my experience is fine.....but god customs nights are awful to organize in MCC. Part of the experience is always waiting in a lobby for 30 minutes because that one guy is new and has file share content auto blocked. Not to mention things like H4 graphics fixes (considering CE, H2, and Reach all got overhauls to restore them), Invasion that's not competitive, and oddities like 343 deciding not to add the other Halo Online maps Digsite released to the game officially even though they added in like three already (or the cut and restored H2 and CE maps for that matter) In other words ill be quite sad if they abandon the game a second time and only that February update gives me a small amount of copium to hold on to.

The problem is is they said this was the last update

They need to bring the cut content in PC to Console.

In game credits being missing is the main reason I do not play MCC campaigns

One thing I would like to see is some hit registration improvements with Halo 3. Bloodshots are still a curse to this very day.

We need cross-play for ALL of the campaigns. As of right now Halo 3 and ODST are the only ones that are cross play. We need CE, 2, and Reach(and 4 as well but I don't care about that one).

Halo 2 Legendary is the best Halo Master Chief collection experience. I have since discontinued my Xbox live Gold because all my friends have moved on to different games and I just don't like moving on to a new game. I'm only there for PVE gameplay. Playing the campaigns on legendary co-op over and over got boring, firefights and Halo 4 Spartan ops are stale to me now :-(

I just want split screen on PC

Something I wish all the titles could have is fixing the strange “dead space” with turrets. A scorpion parked on a hill can’t aim it’s cannon all the way down or all the way up for some reason post Halo 2

honestly I think all the games Except Halo 4 need like...an anniversary edition similar to Halo 2 because honestly it just feels weird and off how Halo 2 looks so new and stuff but the rest of them look like the old games (except Halo 4 because it's one of the newer games)

I mainly wish they added better online co-op. 343i has said that fixing online campaign co-op would take great effort, they'd have to basically code the whole netcode or whatever from the ground up. Currently co-op is almost unplayable because of the massive input lag. Splitscreen should also be added to PC as well.

I love the new cosmetic stuff but it's such an shame that they didn't keep the old ranking system for each game and created an overhaul rank from the culminative xp across games. The amour pieces could still be unlockable as in the old days for each game and then for the bonus stuff could be part of the battle pass . E.G. skins and new content. I miss the old menu's the modern aesthetic in gaming is killing the atmosphere before I even load into an game.

I really wish they would add map vetoing, or at the very least remove the god awful map weighting that's in place. The developers shouldnt have to choose what they think the "best" maps are. I would genuinely prefer if the rotation was completely random.

I hope 30hz logic for singleplayer gets patched in while 60hz becomes a "covenant turbo mode" skull I want this because long night of solace legendary is bugged lol

343, rereleases the old Halo games. Does it worse. 💀 Fr though, they really dropped it way too early, just making some weird ass armors. All you said was great and the idea of all games on the same platform was so underutilised.

More weeklies. MCC is pretty much PvE for me and I’d rather not crawl through my unlocks left challenges 6 at a time minus the Exchange items.

My issue is the disparity between PC/Xbox crossplay, the aim assist Xbox players get is absolutely abysmal when you're trying to play against them Then if you turn off crossplay, you will rarely find matches - all I've heard from controller players is that "Halo was made for consoles" which somehow justifies the fact they have aimbot doing 90% of the work for them - Halo Infinite did crossplay very well, so why doesn't 343 add a similar magnetism for KB&M on MCC? The game was basically DOA on PC due to this issue; I've played on console my whole life (up until last year) and I get that KB&M has advantages of its own, but nothing really compares to the aim advantages on controller when it comes to close/mid-range engagements (which is most of the time) Halo 2 is the biggest example of this, it's nearly impossible to play anything besides Swat on PC

MCC needs to be overhauled from ground up. Engine, missions, animations, etc. 343 wants to but cannot due to cost and time needed. Spoke to tons of 343 guys and they all said the same thing.

If they cant fix mcc, we'll need to return to the original games on consoles. I cant help but be hopeless with 343's recent actions.

Honestly this won’t happen, the game isn’t bringing revenue, so man hours won’t be allocated. This is a situation that even if people disagree micro transactions would bring more development
