Halo MCC PC: Solo Firefight on Corvette [Legendary] [One Life] 

It's honestly very luck based with the firefight maps. They weren't designed to be played the way im playing them at all. And I have no idea what tips I can actually give to people.

@@Candyman76 i found out staying in one spot and let them come to you to kill them one by one is the by far best and only viable Strategy on Legendary

@@Candyman76 I find that with enough caution, and using advantages of the map, I can survive indefinitely on heroic. On beach head, just outside where you spawn you can go on the glass roof to avoid the strongest elite zealots that spawn in the drop pods. They are really fast and can overwhelm you quickly. But if you get on the glass roof, they can't follow and you can peak out and use the plasma pistol/dmr combo on them to kill them from above. No need to do this against any other elites but the ones I mentioned. I think they are the ones that spawn with the plasma repeaters. The gold zealots are easier because they spawn far from each other, and the plasma pistol will trivialize even the ones with the energy swords. Also a tip for brutes and elites with fuel rod cannons. If you can put a lot of distance between them, the plasma pistol dmr works well, but if you can't, the energy sword and the gravity hammer are safe options since they won't shoot you with the fuel rod cannon at melee range.

@@apoc3037 I wouldn't say so, because the elite zealots with the plasma repeaters spawn in drop pods and they run at you in a group. The plasma pistol/dmr combo can deal with one or two at a time, but not four. Unless you can always have a safe escape route to recover your shields and pick them off, killing all 4 of them in a room is basically impossible. As we know in firefight, enemies spawn everywhere, so we don't have safe escape routes, unless you have a ghost. Even then, it's hard to kill them with the ghost since there's tough luck, and they have the spartan lock ability. Plus just one charged plasma pistol shot from a grunt will screw you over in any vehicle. The only place I found to be good against those elites is on top of the glass roof just outside the spawn at beachhead. You can stay up there, and they can't follow, and you can pick them off with the plasma pistol/dmr combo.
