I absolutely love how it has that big red "round in chamber" indicator. Like, I've seen many "smart guns" with an ammo counter. But this is the first time I see implementing such a useful and quick to understand feature.
I'm scratching my head as to the point. You have to not trust it and do all the checks anyway. So all it's going to do is be inappropriately trusted or inappropriately ignored.
@@darth_dan8886 oh i know. i was just saying that after a while i can guarantee it is going to fail. as cool as it is. As you said proper safety is always paramount. i was just saying its good but also a technological failure point as the action carries the bulk of the load
@@QueLastima as i replied to darth_dan8886, you are correct. i was just stating that from a technology standpoint its a possible failure point. a lot of forces at play in the action that can render the sensor inoperable. But still a neat gimmick
@@SerfsUp1848 don't ever say that about yourself. No person on this rock knows everything, you gotta teach yourself. Trust me when I say RU-vid can be a valuable resource for learning although trial and error is the best way. I've always found reading sinks in better than following a video tutorial. Just my opinion and experience.

Not likely. People are full aware of the slippery slope. Thats why guns & electronic technologies haven't taken off. It would go against there own interests to do so from a capital gain perspective & fly in the face of fundamental rights all at the same time which also isn't good for business.
True. I mean it can still function like a normal gun before it’s done booting up, but it would be annoying not to have that cool feature until you’re halfway through a gun fight
@@jacobmartinez8414There is this thing called missing, and that happens a lot in the heat of a fight sometimes. And in many cases there is no leaving the situation. So yes sometimes MIGHT shoot almost or the whole mag.
@@jacobmartinez8414no offense (and happily) you have never been in a firefight. Even the highest trained men in the world miss shots, also if there is more than one target it’s important to count your rounds so you don’t blank and get killed thinking you had a round or 2 left. When you’re in the heat of combat or any tense - high stress situation. It’s not always as easy as 123. Though being trained correctly takes the panic away, it becomes natural to react as opposed to take the time and think
I love how there is still one round in the chamber when it reaches "zero" and then indicates that the slide is now locked open and ready for a new mag. Or when you your at "zero" just release mag and insert a new one, no re-rack required. In jersey our pistol magazines aren't aloud to hold more than 10 rounds. So it's pretty easy to recognize how many rounds you fire. You can pretty much tell though when your pistol is running low because there is a dramatic weight difference, especially with glocks.
@@ichaeofficial the atf will end up with the switch to shut that off if it becomes a mandatory thing. But guns will be banned before that would happen.

@@rigom926 🤣I’m definitely anti glock. Out the box they’re not that great. There’s too many options out there for me to get a glock. I paid 650 for my canik and out the box I have better everything. Salient arms barrel rated accurate at 100 yrds for 100,000 rnds. The trigger is smooth and short and it hasn’t broken in my hand like the last two glocks I owned.

@@leminh2659 - Yea, but they could be. Someone could gain access to the manufacturing process and insert their own chip with short range wireless capabilities. Or they could program the displays to malfunction when certain parameters are met. For example somehow the device could be made to sense when enemy devices are near and during that time the displays auto-malfunction, returning to normal function later.
The accelerometer most likely captures it near instantly it’s just updating the display that takes a while. For the minimal number of times this would be useful it’s all about the current total count, it’s not about watching it during every shot. Why do you think it needs rapid refresh rate? What tactical purpose would that serve?

Технический прогресс это конечно хорошо, но думается это уже лишнее. Раньше без дисплеев прекрасно обходились и не ленились выстрелы считать. Чем проще и не прихотливые оружие, тем лучше. Все эти современные электронные навороты только мешают.

I like how it says “slide is open” when you can look 2 inches away and see the slide being open lmao. I actually like the indicator that there is a chambered round though.
Pretty dumb that it reads “00” with one shot left in the chamber though. I can see that leading to a lot of ignorant people assuming the weapon is clear/out of ammo and treating it as such
@@MrFuzziiWuzzii How? Once you understand the chambered bullet indicator, you would never make the mistake of thinking the gun is empty when it reads 00. The only issue I see is if someone picks it up and has no idea how the indicator works, and that brings a host of other problems.
I just died laughing imagining a bunch of older guys at a range watch in horror as you miss every shot, but the guns still hyping you up 😂😂 “unfreakingbelievable”, and they are all trying to look down range to see what they are missing
@@macklee6837i mean what came to mind for me was an electronic firearm, that could be disabled by the government remotely, at will. Which would be pretty dystopian.
