Like, I almost cannot explain how good this mission is visually. This is truly a testament to the genious of the visual artists and enigneers involved in developing Halo Reach. Halo Reach IMO is a master class of visual storytelling and design, stunning, absolutely stunning. Combined with the unforgettable score by Martin O'Donnel this is one of the best FPS games ever made.
That's why it's my favorite game. The fact that it strays from the general game sense of "Character is basically god and finishes fighting off whatever and saves and instead has the spartan team die one by one adds to it too.
@@asfredstoneceooflag jusy the slow loss of hope throughout the game makes me feel a way a havent felt in any other game. but near the end instead of panick you feel peacefulness, i think its just knowing the courage and morale represented by reach is one that has the power to turn the tides of war.. which it did.
@@一_一一一一一一一一 yes, I can agree with this. No game made me feel that way and the emotions throughout the game are raw and unfiltered. U like most games where you either commit war crimes or shoot people. Brainless shooting sometimes
Despite noble 6 had the chance to leave reach he stayed on reach to fight off the covenant and sadly lost but died with the rest on reach but he fought well and hard that's what I think a legendary way to die is That why this game is truly one of the best games to exist
Even now, every time I go back to Reach and play it again, never stops ripping my soul to shreds. Truly a master piece of a game. The anger, sorrow, and vengeance I feel playing this game through every time just blows me away.
You gotta admit there's some great peacefull warm cozy feeling you get when seeing the city under siege at night with the music just like odst, very dramatic and depressing but in like a cool way and mysterious
I may not do every single track from these missions, I'll pick and choose first then perhaps if people have requests for anything I will try creating them at a later time. Also I do enjoy the background ambience in this game, it fits really well with some of the music. So I will try having at least one video from each mission with both music and ambience together. I think for now I'll keep it to non-combat type music. With that said... Winter Contingency is next!
Sick! Love Reach's atmosphere and it's a perfect inclusion with the content of your channel! Plus, it'll bring in Halo fans lol. Though, I first came here for Deus Ex, I'm a total Halo fanboy so I see this as a total win.
I always thought Phantoms had very creepy sounding engines… you definitely feel like you’re being hunted by the covenant when you hear them flying around overhead
This mission did such an amazing job of showing the destructive power the Covenant had. It conveyed this sense of loss, knowing there's nothing that can be done to truly stop them. It always made me sad to see this beautiful city crumble and burn.
My favorite mission of all of gaming. From the sound track to the visuals, everything is spot on. The dread, sorrow, and despair you feel when playing this, compares to no other game. It hurts even more when you realize this was the last good halo game…. Remember Reach.
halo reach had the most tragic soundtrack of all bungie halo games. may i suggest odst ambient music soundtracks or pure ambience? i'm sure that will also give you a ton of views
Just imagine you got stuck on the surface of Reach, by this point there was probably little chance of getting off world alive with how many ships were in orbit
I love this mission but on laso it’s kinda shit hard on the hospital part because if you can’t do the banshee glitch the only way to get through the elite rangers is a nice active camouflage but sometimes hitting them in the back doesn’t work and you’ll have to assassinate
This song is so relaxing and sad because u lose a great member Jorge and then stop the covenant generators whilst also slowly watching reach grumble and getting Gauss by the covenant and watching the rest of Ur team and Urself slowly die
