Season 2 was a complete upgrade... being realistic about budgetary constraints it was light years beyond Season 1. Who tf does a series and openly admits to not once looking at the troves and troves of source material. Even if youre going todo something different you have to understand where the character come from so you know how they connect with their audience...

Season 2 is a huge improvement from season 1. There are still so many loose ends and things that don’t make sense. Is it to much to ask for more action and more master chief in his suit.

The Halo TV series was my first intro to Halo and the show is amazing. I was captivated since episode 1. For people who never played the games and don’t know the canon stories, watching the show is a cinematic rollercoaster!

THIS episode was freaking fantastic. 10/10. This is what they need to keep doing. Keep up the action and focus on Chief. If it is too expensive to produce that every episode.. well figure it tf out ! As a Halo fan since CE first dropped on xbox... man this episode gave me goosebumps. Very very well done.

You forgot to mention that Parangosky got absolutely swarmed by the flood, which has me thinking that she will be turned into a proto gravemind.

Just a reminder that the arbiter is a position in the covenant and that this arbiter isn't the one people have in mind The arbiter that people know and love was in charge of the covenant forces in the first halo game and was blamed for the destruction of the halo ring. He was stripped of his rank and made the new arbiter.

It's also worth noting that during Chief's fight with the Arbiter, his 117 label is burned off. Signifying that it's John that ultimately wins in the end, not the Master Chief. He straight up just beats Var to half death in a rage.

All problems began when John removed the pellet that suppresses his emotions. Unless John removed it, no other Spartan would have removed it, leading to the extinction of Covenant.

We don’t even know if they’re doing a season 3. The season 2 plot twist should’ve only been done if you have multiple seasons coming down the road. If your not guaranteed to have them, then a season with fewer what’s next moments would have been better. Plus the 2 year long gap between seasons needs to be shorter like next year that’s just my thoughts

I've liked the show from the get go, but this season definitely picked up the pace and the story a lot!

I figured the shaman vision might have been the gravemind since it seemed to have control over the flood.

I’ve never played Halo the game but I’m loving the series. Definitely want more battle scenes with Master Chief in his suit in season 3.

I loved both seasons and can't wait for three.

Season 2 is better than season 1 with it getting closer to how the game is played now with the flood introduced at the end of season two.

Loved Halo Season 2. Now I am ready for Season 3

Season 2 was a MAJOR Improvement over Season 1! I hope that Season 3 is influenced from the games and books more than what season 1 did because after all everyone that is watching the show has either played the games and/or read the books. I do not mind a new view or somewhat of a storyline but bringing in a totally new things that were never talked about or discussed in the cannon is not a good thing specially when the writers are making it the Principal part of the story.

Huge improvement over season 1. Finally not so many BS plot threads. Qwan Ha is even tolerable. Still not enough Chief in the suit

For those of us who have not played the game, it was unfair to change Cortana. Her entertaining personality kept things moving forward. I am now halfway through the second season and so far, her position in all of this has barely been missed, even when she shows up. I hope the game players continue to enjoy it.

From the very beginning, halo was designed to turn into a “The Walking Dead” flick. I wasn’t very happy about the switch in the game and I wonder why these games do that. It’s the same thing in the game Crysis. You’re fighting North Koreans and all of a sudden they switch to space aliens. In far cry, you’re fighting human soldiers and all of a sudden they switch to genetic experiments. Call of duty may be the only game that seems to understand that the gamer wants to continue fighting the same enemy they started fighting.

The monitors were actually not AI as they could and would never be corrupted by the flood as they needed to do their task under any circumstance. All the monitors were former humans, 343 was specifically "Chakas".

Season two was much MUCH better than season one. Still not got over the shock of the Chief taking off his helmet in season one lol. Can’t wait to see how the story develops. Bring on season 3 please!

That ability that Chief has is called "luck", I remember reading it somewhere on the Fall of Reach book when he was a child and why he was chosen. It probably might not be luck, maybe something else

Good season, definitely better that the 1st. I wouldvr liked to see the og version of Chief arriving on halo in the lifeboat with a bunch of marines, and than the pillar of Autumn driven by Captain Keys crashing down after. Also would've liked to see the flood introduced the og way too, with the covenant accidentally setting them loose on halo.

I don't want the show to be a carbon copy of the game. It should have elements of the game, but be able to stand alone.

Awful writing, here we go ... Miranda Keyes releases the flood spores inside a quarantine zoned laboratory, however ... she never gets infected? Almost everyone else does? The first human to be infected is put behind bars. The prison guard gets infected, as do dozens of people that Soren and Kwan walk past, but ... Kessler and Laera don't get infected? Perez goes from a Comms tech with awful combat skills to a Spartan III in less than a month? Cortana has infinite signal strength, can hack everything, but ... not Covenant ships? Soren and Laera can walk into a UNSC facility to uplift Kessler with virtually no resistance? Kai is an absolute bad-ass capable of insane feats of combat, but all of a sudden fights like a pleb as soon as she's on the Covenant cruiser? The flood infected are ... statues? Or raging zombie monsters? Do they take over immediately? Or does it take time? So much inconsistency. Does the Mjolnir armour have shields like Season 1, or has that been abandoned? And the greatest sin of all ... every character is going on and on about how getting to the Halo is so important and that it's imperative to get to it first. But virtually no-one is trying to. John-117 gets there first (okay, third), because the plot demands it, and that's even after making a detour. Also, the importance of the Halo is just taken for granted by everyone - there is never a reveal as to why it's important. But believe me, it is, I guess? And the hilarity is that he's tasked with 'defending it' - as if he can defend a planet on his own. Oh I'm not done. John punching a screen to 'download' Cortana, even when this hyper-advanced AI said there was nothing he could do, is the dumbest deus ex machina so far. Not to mention he regains conscience a mile away from the crashed ship. This show has worse writing that GoT. Non-gamers will never know how frightening the original Flood reveal was.

Great great great season finale, truly a good ending to the season and as a lifelong halo fan watching it with my son who is 8 and played the campaigns we were just geeking out the whole episode honestly. The ending 👏👏

Enjoyed S1 Loved S2 now S3 had best blow my mind 😜 and hopefully isn’t cancelled as it’s only just getting going.

It's a good show. I love the games and canon but ive already experienced those so it's wonderful to have a different experience with a story that I love so that I can love it again but for different reasons.

Better than season 1 - Season 1 was weird and looked very 'cheap'. The CGI was awful. Hope there is more action in season 3.

as a long time fan of the Halo franchise (I have most of the games spread across 3 consoles, and I have read all the book titles available) I live for season 3 (I only watch halo on paramount+ so my subscription depends on it) The second season is LOOSLY based on the book the fall of reach. I wonder what season 3 will bring. LONG LIVE HALO.

I’m probably guna get slated by the halo nerds but I’ve enjoyed both seasons of halo and I’ve seen some of the films I’ve never played the games I’ve reached as much halo lore as I can and I think it’s been great seeing the human side to a super soldier watching John and Kai’s relationship be tested by loyalty and orders and finally loyalty winning the day in their relationship same as when he left in injured Spartan 2 behind on her request because he understood that she wasn’t capable of her past performances and had sacrificed a lot already and deserved her rest from the war which had already claimed 1 of them. I hope bigger fans of halo can understand my opinion of the show so far

I didn’t watch season one, outside of clips of the action scenes. I thought season two was fun. I only really played the first Halo, so I’m not super-worried about “lore” or whatever. It’s a show. It’s got Halo stuff. Master Chief kicks ass. It’s fun.

I've enjoyed it so far but I've never played a halo game. We had a playstation growing up. Only gripe I had is I preferred S1 cortana. My friend didn't even notice they'd recast her.

i didn't hate season one, but season two was amazing. I hope there is a season 3 and that it can get a bigger budget, as it will probably need it for what could happen. Those effects aren't cheap.

I agree, there was massive improvement in this show just from this episode alone. The flood was really well done, I think that they’re going to tease it a little more giving us that cliche World War Z vibe until Season 3 we get more of the traditional flood. Sorry traditional is not a construct that exists in this show, but a bit more familiar. I do think that Halsey getting infected was not the right thing, obviously her character in canon is vital to the halo story, so I was kind of surprised that she got infected. I think that Kwan escaping the flood was teasing the potential for a grave mind, that would be super cool to see. My least favorite part of the episode was the killing of the Arbiter. I loved the Master Chief vs Arbiter scene, that fight scene was epic, but I was really kind of surprised that Makee just stood there and watched. I thought she was going to tell Chief to stop and we would have had this Arbiter and Chief story arc. It’s still been a dream of mine post Halo 3 that the Master Chief and the Arbiter would reunite. Maybe in Season 3 there will be a story on the covenants end where there’s another shameful Elite and that one 🤞🏻 I hope is Thel Vadaam and then he teams up with Chief. The scenery of the Halo ring was beautiful. So far, it seems like there are steps being taken in the right direction. 👍🏻
