Lauren Babic is legit one of the best vocalists in the scene. Not just one of the best female vocalists, best vocalists period.

Lauren is a Canadian singer. As well as collaborations with First To Eleven and Halocene and many, many others, she was/is lead vocalist with CrazyEightyEight and Red Handed Denial. She recently released a solo EP, Silence Is The Only Sound. Halocene's original song Vita Nova - title track of their recent EP - is worth a reaction.

The little "Release the Babic!" is way too funny to me. I definitely recommend looking into more of Lauren's work, her melodic voice is excellent too!

Addie is a fantastically versatile singer (who can rap, sign with grit, or sound like a Disney princess). Screaming is about the only thing she can't do. Brad (the keyboard player and guitarist) normally handles that when needed. However they have collaborated a lot with Lauren so while working on this cover they asked if she'd guest in it. The covers Halocene did of System of a Down songs (Chop Suey, Toxicity and Aerials) all feature her as well as Violet Orlandi and are well worth checking out.

Lauren is in two bands and is from Canada. Her primary band is called Red Handed Denial and the other band is crazy Eighty Eight for which she provides vocals. She also collaborates with many people doing all sorts of covers like this. She mostly provides harsh vocals as in this case. There are exceptions in which she shows off her clean vocals like this cover: ESCAPE THE FATE - The Guillotine (Cover by @Lauren Babic & @Linzey Rae) and Linzey Rae is the person that I have already mentioned in connection to Metal Kitchen, I believe.

Oh hell yea, this cover is more than amazing! They did such an unbelievable great job. Halocene is soooo good, I love them. Addie's voice is super versatile. And Brad the guitarist/producer and also Addie's husband is a good singer and screamer too. And if I'm not wrong Addie is more or less in the learning process to become a good screamer as well. But maybe they were just joking around, not sure :D they do amazing live streams performing live music and viewer requests. Lauren Babic is one of a killer vocalist, she has some amazing screams. She's the vocalist of two bands: CrazyEightyEight and Red Handed Denial - worth checking out! There are a lot more covers which they did together. But Halocene does not make only covers, they have so awesome originals too! Would be cool to see you diving deeper into those bands! Enjoyed it as always :)
