A great time capsule. Geoffrey Beene is so awkward. I can't imagine why he did this show. This is just not his scene. It was reported in a magazine article years later that he did not like the experience. Halston is clearly treated like the biggest star, which he was at the time. Sadly, he would begin a fast descent in a little over a year. I wonder how show designer Nolan Miller felt about Bob Mackie being on the show. They were both costumers more so than fashion designers. But how could Nolan have been on the show? Would they have introduced him as designer for The Love Boat?

How odd, considering Nolan Miller was the costume designer for this show?!....
