Next time when you have a stuck wheel. Wedge ya knees under the bottom so they're pulling, then pull at the top with one hand and smack the steering column with a hammer make sure the nuts on level with the column but still loose. Works every time for me.

There is self taping screws and machine screws. A bolt has a hexagon head. Also cap screws but that's another story 😂

A bolt with a flat/Phillips head is called a machine screw.

Hey guy's, have you thought about buying a Mag Drill, then you can move it on your work bench, and have a vice you can move as well, they can take large Drill bit's, and you can use a bit called a rotor broach, it also has coolent if you need it

What about some ribs in the rear fire wall to stop it drumming? A bolt has a nut, if it has a thread all the way up the shank and screws into something eg the block, it's called a set screw.

I prefer original dash cluster's over screens, i can see people going back to stock dashes in a few years and hiding the haltechs too. But in the case of td/te cortina, the dash is very plain unlike a tc. Plenty of cars have horns with buttons on the end too. But I guess people Interact with old cars less and less.

A bolt has a shank. A screw does not. Hence you can buy "set screws" which look like a bolt, but don't have a shank they are threaded the whole way. You're welcome ;) That being said I don't know if that's actually the answer cause short bolts don't have shank either, yet they are still called bolts. But definitely if you want a bolt that is threaded the entire way you order a set screw.

Mako motorsports do replacement dash’s for mounting Haltech’s dash If they don’t have it they can make them

The answer to the question is ??? A screw has a thread all the way to the head, and a bolt has only a partial thread with a shaft. I hope this helps Michael
