We did our tauba asked Allah SWT for forgiveness and put an immediate halt stop to this evil practice Alhumdhulillah Ya Rabbil Alimeen for guiding us. My beloved daddy passed away in 2021 we refused to do any khatum niaz or 40 day death anniversary and a person who is my mums friend who is a Shia-teen asked my mum why we're not doing khatum and 40 day death anniversary for my daddy. My mum said we don't believe in any of that because that was not the way of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH. She shut up and didn't utter a word ... I was just waiting for her to say something about us not following barelvies and deobandis so I could totally refute her with hujjah from Qur'an and Sunnah but she kept quiet. Wallahi Allah SWT has saved us from committing shirk and kuffr We have been robbed of the true Al Islam for years and I also want to thank Shaikh Abdullah Al Faisal for showing us the errors and shirk of these barelvies and deobandis

Deobandis are also named after a village in India called ‘deoband’ - again born in British colonized india in 1800s. Similarly a large chunk of Sufis in South Asia are attached to a den of shirk called Ajmer in india! Tragically even after 75 years Islamic countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh failed to purge the toxic Indian culturalism from their societies and so they also suffer.

Ustaad Muhammad Tim humble was here in south Africa recently for dawah tour and I saw on my recommended RU-vid videos one of their videos targeting and blaming the ustaad for perhaps criticizing the tabligi jama,at,mind you the south African Muslims are mainly deopandis and tabligis.I thought the timing of their video was to cause the boycott of the ustaad's dawah in this deopandi and tabligi strong hold and they might have succeeded.May Allah guide them and us!

Alhamdulilah I have memorized the Quran in a deopandi madrassa in south Africa and i was very close to the founder and the head of the madrassa mufti,who was very different from other deopandis when it came to the practices of the deen and the dealings of different people.I just wish one day I could take with me a highly knowledgeable ustaad like abdurrahman Hassan so he can chat and perhaps convince him of the dawah salafiyah. He's very old but fit. May Allah give me that opportunity. I'm editing this post to answer some questions.I chose to leave the name of the mufti and the madrassa because of many reasons. For one I don't want some people around him to lie about salafiyah. For the people who are doubting my story,all I can say is that my study was in hifz and I have an ijaza in the hafz qira,ah from the head qari of the madrassa to teach.I actually even became a hifz teacher in that madrassa for sometime.I Also had a great relationship with the qari and his younger and more connected to the salafis.

This childish mockery is not only insulting to other Muslims but refers to a trait found within the Messenger of Allah ﷺ himself-who would love to eat halwa. عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحِبُّ الْحَلْوَاءَ وَالْعَسَلَ A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved halwa and honey (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim). I'll give our dear brother the benefit of the doubt. Rather than seeing "halwa-eaters" as a demonstration of clownish show business, I see it as his humble way of saying that these brothers resemble the Prophet ﷺ (who also ate halwa) more closely than he does.

Trust me, people know these words but they have their own languages and Islam didn’t come to erase cultures, languages and dialects. These kind of arguments the brother is making is what nationalist and secularists use to turn away people from Islam. For eg you mention in passing that they’re grave worshippers, which is utterly ridiculous lol. It’s Barelwis who flirt with this, not deobandis. I live in the same city as the Mawlana on the right and Abu Usamah also lives in the same city. The Mawlana on the right doesn't have any active lessons, I have tried looking to see if he teaches people anything but couldn't find anything. Fast forwarded the video to witness the refutation, only to find someone Laughing at them for 1 hour is a sign of a desperate response!

This reaction video is upsetting and unfitting for any scholar/student of knowledge that teaches and provides Islamic content on youtube. Yes there is much that can be said to criticize the brothers from the original video. No doubt there is an inner lining that the two brothers specifically targeted brother Shami due to his Salafi background. I am sure they would have treated someone else differently if they were also a Deobandi. However, I have noticed brother Shami more often now than before reading the Quran from his phone to confirm the ayah he is reciting to avoid any mistakes. The original video was produced to address this issue and it appears they were able to get that message across (minus the added insults). Regarding the reaction video, I see no reason why you are making fun of how the two brothers look, basically calling them dumb and are suggesting every deobandi eats halwa and needs to lose weight. Seems like this reaction was simply to ridicule the two brothers, fat shaming millions of people while also making yourself feel better in the process. Congrats on that part 7abibi. No one knows how close someone may be to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. We should always be mindful of this when attacking others.
