For everyone trying to make these: oven at 350°, cover with foil and bake until the cheese is melted (usually about 15 minutes), then take the foil off and bake for another 10 minutes. You're welcome.
I made these today and I love how simple it was! Instead of ham I used turkey and I had a bag of an authentic Mexican cheese blend on hand so I used that! I topped off my sandwich with some avocado slices and bam! This recipe is a definite keeper!
Well with something like this it's not really that big a deal you're kinda just warming everything up and making it all melted so I mean 350° for 10-15 mins is pretty safe bet. I'd foil it and maybe take foil off do another 5 mins without
Thank you! My husband works outside and it’s hard to find things that are different than a normal ham and cheese, but still safe to just be cooked by a cold pack and doesn’t need warmed up. This is perfect!
So mine I added dijon mustard to the butter mix, put grilled pineapple chunks onto the sliders and grilled onions. And then my sprinkles I didn't have poppy seeds so I used chia seeds. Worked out great super yummy 10/10 will be making again tonight lol
i made six xliders for lunch for the first time and i was impressed with myself, i did smash burger style with mustard ketchup lettuce and cheese. it was so good. now with the other six im gonna have to make this for breakfast in the morning good god, i was mad at myself for not using any bacon for the sliders but i was just hungry. this recipe with applewood bacon i cant wait to try it tomorrow morning.
Thank you for mentioning Havari Cheese! I almost bought that yesterday but have had it before! I will try it too!!!! Should melt faster and creamier than Swiss for sure! Just looked it up on the internet.😊
Hey I was scrolling down on my channel and I ran across yours and when I saw the sandwiches they look amazing I haven’t had these in years and I had to come and see
I make this in a double batch.. Half with Swiss cheese. Half with American cheese. Also, I place parchment paper in the bottom of my pan to keep the bottom of the bun from getting too done.
I took hour idea and made mine with fr3nch roll bread. After i built them like a sub adding olives, lettuce, onions, bell peppers, sauted mushrooms, and i own seasoned vinegar and olive sauce. My son loved the sandwiches. Like you said not a recipe just a idea.
I am going to try your recipe. Only ONE layer of cheese may solve my problems when making sliders. Every batch I have ever made calls for two different cheeses. My problem is… by the time the cheese melts the bottom of my rolls get hard and the meat is still only semi warm. Anyway… I’ll check back when I try them. Thanks for posting!
Hello and thanks for the recipe. Was actually looking for a good hoagie recipe when my husband and I came across your video. He immediately said this is dinner.Went and got the ingredients today and tried it. Only tweek was adding mayo to the bread before building. The recipe rocked. Thanks for sharing.
They look A-maz-ing! I'm thinking of doing this for a club potluck. Are these also good room temperature? Would they be soggy from the butter if served an hour after heating?
Good Tuesday morning Julie. Those homemade ham and cheese sliders look absolutely delicious - especially on those Sweet Hawaiian Rolls. I'm definitely fixing them for lunch today. Thanks so much for another of your great recipes.😊😊👍👍
@@raymondfurgason8959 i did mine for about 20ish mins and then uncovered it and let it cook for 5 more but it depends on your oven really so id suggest watching closely so they dont burn :) happy cooking

Julie I see from the picture that you doubled the amount of cheese.. Looks like you us2ed rows of cheese and 2 rows of hams. Which is a good because more cheese the better.. Oolala!!! .
Hi, beautiful Julie. Your sliders look too pretty to look at. You are a very special woman with a knack for desserts. What's your best tip for making the best pizza without making a mess? Take care of yourself, cutie pie.
Almost all bread here is enriched, meaning it contains a fairly high amount of eggs, milk, or fat in addition to the flour, water, salt, and yeast that basic breads consist of. The extra fat makes them sweeter. Our bread is akin to challah or brioche, just in regular shaped loaves. Hawaiian rolls have added sugar as well, sometimes in the form of fruit juice like pineapple, which makes them even more sweet. They're technically closer to a cake than bread, but they're still delicious especially with ham and Swiss. foodal.com/knowledge/baking/enriched-bread-dough/
