3910 been like that forever, really sad, but a long time. They really get stirred up late at night. Its worked its way down to 40 and 20 meters as well.CQ=Breaker
Pirate broadcasters are common in shortwave, because it if often skywave and not line of sight, makign then harder to track down. That is why WWI and WWII spies used shortwave to transmit information back. It would take a long time to track them down. You will not hear that in VHF and UHF bands. It is easier to track them down.
Logical to assume that even some licenced amature radio operaters get bord and become jammers and annoy others. They simply don't identify themselves with their licenced call signs. Then of course there are the unlicensed individuals who can walk in and buy an amature radio or got possession of an old one somewhere. Whatever the case may be, this kind of behaviour has been going on since the beginning of amature radio. Don't give them an audience and move to another frequently, never respond to this behaviour and it does fizzle out in time but it's always going to be around.
1st off, what is an Amature Radio? I know about Amateur Radio. Nobody knows if these clowns are Amateur Operators or just other Bottom Feeding Sewer Rats.
yep.....i have actually talked with these stations......there was even a guy called suckbag.....yes they do push the regulations,,,,but one time i heard these stations talk to a new general operator and was his first contact and they were absolutely great to the kid,,,polite friendly helpful ....respectful.....the kid left the conversation with a good feeling. push rules yes,,bad people no
Just because the garbage is being transmitted on the Ham Radio Bands does not prove these persons making the noises are ham operators.ANYONE with the money can purchase a ham radio! The FCC has no funds for those who ask the question why nothing is being done & most people know it.
