Great demonstration of the products. It's always a problem if you can't get tothe store to understand exactly what you're buying into so seeing the device being used like this has been informative. Cheers
A really good range of noise cancelling products to help reception in these electrically noisy environments. A good combination from Graham and Martin Lynch. 73.M0IDR
Nice presentation! I like bhi and their products. I have their noise-cancelling module for Yaesu FT-817 built in my transceiver since some 15 years now, and it still makes wonders cancelling noise and digging signals out of the chaos! It is extremely useful in CW. Highly recommend bhi! 73! Linas LY2H
Excellent demonstration. I currently use my IC-705 for data modes, but was thinking about dusting off an IC-718, for voice. I don't currently have an external speaker, but will look at the website, to see what options are available for my situation. Thanks, Chris (2E0FRU)
The Stereo is wonderful for those rigs with dual receivers.... You can have one antenna on VFO A and a different antenna on VFO B... so then this unit can provide diversity audio separation with a pair of stereo headphones or stereo speakers. Just fantastic. W1SWL
Great video and demonstrations of kit as usual. However, I'll miss your open day on Saturday in November due to other commitments. Kind regards, Ray, M0RAY.
I can’t imagine using my radio without my bhi module. It is that good and use it all the time in my mobile. It sits along side my radio on the dash and is very easy to adjust even on the move . I have had some feed back issues on 40 m which I am going to have to address, which I’m hoping to cure with some clip on ferites but would appreciate any feedback from someone who might have experienced this. Thanks
I absolutely love my BHI Compact in-line DSP Noise Cancellation unit it greatly increases my listening enjoyment and greatly reduces listening fatigue!
I had one of the SGC noise reduction speakers and it really did make a difference. Food for thought here, definitely. What bout using AI for noise reduction? There are programs available but not hardware with it built in.
I wish manufacturers actually had DNR like this in their radios - I have a Kenwood TS-890S and the noise reduction is nowhere near as good as what a BHI can do!
Very interesting product. However this is audio and not at the RF level. Most radios today have BW adjustments. Does this work better than just narrowing the bandwidth?
Hi, we have the unit in-stock now (just select DSP option from the drop-down): www.hamradio.co.uk/bhi-paraeq-parapro-eq20-audio-processing-unit-pd-7814
Hi, You may hear me because it doesn't affect the transmitted signal which may be clear at the otehr end, but of course if you haven't heard what was said you won't have a lot to say back
