Nice and smooth mate, i'm dying to have one.. Even if I'm not so much into step walking , it would be more to enjoy the feeling surf, is it quite easy to pump and generate speed ?
Cheers mate! The Logger model was made more for cross stepping and less for pumping/generating speed, although it is still possible. It is the equivalent of a Mal in the water. I would have thought one of the shorter Hamboard models would be more suitable for this purpose although I haven't tried one of these myself. Some of the longer CX, or C7 (if single fin feel as what you're after) Carver models may also be worth a look at.
Tore it up by the end dude. Whats it like pushing on this thing? It seems like the slightest movement and its turning pretty sharp. Would be hard to push? Worth the price tag? Debating on a Hamboard. Eitger this Logger or the Fish.
I had damaged trucks for this video as I had broken the restricting pins around the springs by going down steep slopes with abrupt toe transitions (that's why the board wobbles so much at 9s). The trucks normally have a reasonable resistance (and hence stability) in the neutral position which allows for pushing fine. Note that, as you will see for reviews online, as soon as you start a turn, it turns really quickly, unlike bushing systems that offer increasing resistance as you lean. Hope it helps. Ian
