Remember when Lando said anyone can win because LEWIS had the car? KARMA showing up Lando... LEWIS SMOKED LANDO in that final stint and showed him how to preserve the soft tires and still maintain enough space to hold off a charging Max.... GOAT Levels... Lando should not be mentioned in that same sentence.. LH44 the GOAT only Max can match... this was an inspirational win at 39yrs young in the modern era... tears of joy
I thought it was poetic that the podium was reflective of the drivers' talent (Lewis and Max, regardless of the order) and the pace of their cars (the fastest car, Mclaren, still beaten by slower cars)
I was incredibly proud of Lewis Hamilton today. His driving was absolutely phenomenal. His tyre management was exceptional, especially compared to the younger drivers who were burning through their tyres quickly. Lewis kept pace with George, who pushed hard as usual, and with Lando, who was on the same tyres and came out at the same time. Lewis pulled ahead, creating gaps, while Max caught up as others burnt out. What does that say? Listening to Lewis Hamilton's interview was an emotional experience. I'm not ashamed to admit that at 57 years old, I cried. My son cried. Our friends cried too. Watching Lewis embrace his father and mother as if he hadn't seen them in 25 years was deeply moving. It shows that he's human and that he questions himself. Did you hear what he said in the interview? He wonders if he's still at his peak. Maybe he isn't, but today he demonstrated the skill of an experienced driver who excels in tyre management. His car's performance is unparalleled. The events of 2021 clearly still affect him, leading to self-doubt. Hopefully, today's performance will boost his confidence for future races. We have to give credit to Lewis Hamilton. He has remained focused, even when it seemed like he was alone, without much support. George Russell's mentality is different; he just wants to win races and become the top driver, but he's only won two races so far, whereas Lewis has 104 victories. Their mindsets reflect their different stages in their careers. Despite the challenges of aging, Lewis deserves the highest respect. Today's race was one of the best performances I've seen from him, proving once again why he's the greatest of all time. Even as he approaches 40, he's on a different level. Today confirmed it.❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Extremely well spoken Sir, covering all the bases. As a pure GP fan for 60 yrs i exulted in his fairytale win at the perfect venue. Kudos to Max for a great drive as well. Both tactical and strategic masters. One of the alltime best British GPs
@@carlgevers2557 Well said, Paul and Carl. The first GP I attended with my dad was the last race that Jim Clark won before his untimely death. I was 8 years old at the time, and the chivalry of the F1 divers turned me into an F1 fan for life. Clark was arguably the most talented driver to grace the circuits of the world, winning in any car he drove. Today, Sir Lewis again demonstrated that he has that same finesse. I am 64 years old now and, for the first time in a while, I had that buzz that only F1 can give. Many, many congratulations to Lewis on a magnificent win, as well as to Max on a drive worthy of a World Champion. When Max made the call (not his engineer) to go onto inters, it was a master stroke. Lando can feel justifiably aggrieved at finishing only third. Nonetheless, well done to all front runners on a fantastic race. As Paul said, the best British GP in a long time (since the epic 1969 battle between Sir Jackie Stewart and Jochen Rindt, in my opinion).
Today he took back what Masi took from him ... His faith ... in the sport and in himself ... Today he proved his Goat status ... and today he proved that failure isn't being down, failure is staying down. Today he chose to not stay down.
Considering in terms of pace it was Mclaren -> Merc -> RB this week it's pretty mindblowing that Lewis managed to take the win and Max managed to take P2. Champion drives, both faultless, oh the humanity.
@@warnerbouma5475 F1BigData’s telemetry suggests it was Merc > MCLaren (+0.11) > Red Bull (+0.13). Having said that, I never could have imagined that result in a non safety car race after both McLaren’s were leading.
On god! When I saw his dad on the grid, in a shot begins Russell…. That smile his dad had…. He knew… I bet he told Lewis this was the one today… What a beautiful moment we saw today. The whole thing
@@magdelinem6962 In my humble opinion, Mclaren only just entered the P1 game after how many years already?. Merc and RBR team and drivers more fresh in p1 experience that makes them sharper to the nuances of strategy, tactics and racecraft for the win.
Lewis shines like a sun giving so much life to the worldvaround him! He is greater than great after his power to keep at it without cease. Hevis God Tier for sure. Max was smiling and positive to Lewis as well. Tears of joy❤
I was doubting lewis . I said he should have gotten pole. This is silverstone Lewis's track. But then he pulled off the masterclass. His father stayed by his side the whole time. What a journey. Now my eyes are on Ferrari .
@SWOTHDRA If Lewis had the DNF instead of George, Lewis fans would've definitely believed that he is being sabotaged... (The F1 teams won't sabotage their drivers. From a business perspective, it would make zero sense.)
@@adrian3355w F1 currently owned by U.S corps. U.S RUNS ON NARRATIVE. they have preferences of WHO should or deserve to win a race. it is a surprise that after lewis decided to move to ferrari that they still let him win. lewis can win. they just dont let him.
That was much needed, man I was in tears!! That hit hard! Well deserved Lewis! Today wasn’t just for F1 it was for the entire country, we seen it in the Euros too. He never gave up, and that’s a lesson for anyone out there NEVER GIVE UP!!
What a race!! And what a winner 🤘🤘🏽. I don’t think there is a single soul who isn’t happy for Lewis. As a Max fan, I couldn’t keep it dry man. What this guy has gone through.
Real talk but why are red bull so willing to put up with him? I like Checo but it’s actually so bad. If I were them I’d be replacing him in the next race or two. He needs a hard ultimatum.
@@notaspeck6104 it's because of the sponsorship he brings in. He sells more merchandise in the North America then Max does. That's why they're happy to put up with him despite their being better options
Hi Cameron, What a race! It couldn’t be a better place and moment forLewis to win again. He drove a perfect race…focused and with one goal: to get in there!🤣
I think Ferrari will have to start ordering a lot of spare Teddies for Charles to throw, I really hope Ferrari get a car that can run at the front , Ferrari kept the wrong current driver for 2025
Yes the cooler temperatures played a part because as we know from James Allison Mercedes work better in cooler weather BUT it was an absolute Hamilton masterclass. Andrea Stella and Zak Brown have been very gobby in the last week but Mercedes, Hamilton, Verstappen and Red Bull took them and Lando to school, strategy school. McLaren talked a big game but they couldn't back it up operationally.
My eyes were leaking. Grown man crying... embarrassing!😆😆 I knew if the weather turned Lewis would take advantage. But he (Lando) didnt have the experience to call the right strategy in changing conditions, faffed in the pits. PIastri would have been on podium if McLaren were capable of a stacked pit stop. Great call from RBR to choose Hards, cant take it away from them. All in all a great weekend for this country UK. Out with the rubbish , in with hope! Brits know what I mean. PS: Checo needs sacking and the obvious is Saintz to take that seat.
The same Cameron that said Lewis couldn't make a set of softs last to the finish in Canada? well well well... I guess we all know what you think of 44s abilities now don't we? Lando couldn't make it last but Lewis managed it to perfection!
@@stableianF1oracleRedbull was fine, Max couldn't do it in the mix conditions but could push when it dried. Rxe telemetry 1. McLaren 2. Redbull 3. Mercedes
@@parthosarathimaxotek Nope it was the track, I repeat the race Telemetry showed exactly what I wrote. Also how did Max immediately become the fastest man on track in the second lap after getting the Hard even though Lewis was on Soft. Lewis was never faster than Max immediately after the second lap on the hards, I repeat the mixed conditions helped Lewis and Mercedes
Well deserved win for Lewis from a Max-fan❤. Happy for him, he was clearly very emotional. Max and his team performed also very well. Bad strategy from Mc Laren. We will see what the future brings. Max in a Mercedes outfit no longer seems unlikely.

Lewis will never get the credit for being the G.O.A.T. simply because he is black: however, recognized or not, Sir Lewis Hamilton s the best F1 driver who has ever lived thus far.
What a race, I cried my eyes out just to have 3 Brits on the front! The race itself was spectacular and the finish historic and beautiful. Lewis drove with a calm and management that was pure flow. I can't recall who said it but I like to think that it was Lewis of Silverstone; '...it's not always to the best advantage to have pole...' Wonder if anyone can confirm that quote. My god, there is nothing like this feeling so Thank You very much our GOAT, Lewis Hamilton.🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁💚❤ And thanks too Cameron for safe place to enjoy our sport.👍👍🏾
Congratulations to Lewis, that was a wonderful race! It must be impossible to describe how long those 2,5 years must have been. It was heart warming to see him hugging his father. Lewis has proven that he is still here to stay. And you, Cameron, have worded this wonderfully. Cheers, as a Max fan I raise my glass and tip my hat to Lewis and to you.
What a day it was. I wasiterally watching the end of the race in the cabin at the climbing gym and afterwards climbed my first 7b ever sport route. After 2 years of injury finally got the 7b and after 2,5 years of painful waiting finally got a hamilton win in silverstone, both on the same day. WHAAAAAT
Awesome race with a fairytale ending. Some positive evidence that he still has it (if any was really needed), he hasn’t had the car under him until now. Amazing the leap Mercedes has made in the past few races. Equally as amazing as the fall off in the performance of Ferrari. Was impressed by Max’s strategy calls, fair play to him. Good to see him have it work for results and this time keep it clean. Overall this year has been great, just Max got too much of a head start at the beginning of the season for it to be close. Next year, with a clean sheet it should be a 3 or 4 way race. Red Bull need to get on with replacing Perez, it’s truly embarrassing now.
Max's win rate isn't the same as last year now that the cars are closer. In the last four races we've had different winners. Max just had a couple of months to deal with. Now think about the inconsistent W13 and W14. Your max also would have a winless streak in those cars
I was already questioning my grip on reality, but this race proved that we're in the fourth dimension. What is this season? Wasn't Verstappen supposed to win every race?
My favorite part of the race was when SLH’s team called to ask him to come in for Intermediates… “nope…” well played, sir. That would have sunk him in this race for sure. I love it… “nope…” what a nice middle finger to the guys wanting to preserve a chance for his teammate to attempt a win from behind. Also shows that Russel’s car was indeed set up differently regarding the cooling package they thought would ensure Russel had an advantage. Toto was probably feeling ill after the celebratory back slapping was finished thinking about how many times he is going to have to suffer losses to Lewis in his nice red car next year. Mr. Wolf, I hope you enjoy your 2025 season from race one thru the last while you get whipped by your former driver that you did dirty in a spiffy red Ferrari every weekend.
The affinity that Hamilton has for the Silverstone Circuit is quote something else - he has won in every single thing he has ever driven there and at the age of 39 he continues to show everyone how it's done. It's like Rafael Nadal at Rolland Garros.
Dude i love your channel but one of these days, you'd be saying those lines when you're old and grey and waking up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet: "What are we doing here?" 😂😂😂
I respect Lewis, but I'm not a fan. You're absolutely right. I was happy as an F1 fan and as a human being watching someone so filled with joy and triumph. It isn't every day you get to watch someone break a record held by Schumacher. It was nothing short of beautiful, and I'm thrilled for Lewis (and his fans).
They have the winning car, they have the winning drivers but the McLaren team/stratagies are still in a midfield mind set - they need to be flawless, they need the be the perfect package, now!
I'm not a LH fan, but I'm very happy for him. I'm happy for all of us F1 fans, because that race was excellent. We witnessed a 5-star race and the breaking of a Schumacher record. One couldn't ask for much more than that. I'm a selfish Alonso fan, though. If you think Lewis' win after a dry spell of almost three years was emotional, imagine Fernando's after eleven. Gods above, I hope Alonso wins another race before he retires (not to take anything away from Lewis' triumph, I respect the man a great deal). Alonso gave us one of the greatest drives I've ever seen at Interlagos last year. If only it had been for P1 instead of P3.
Congrats! Combination of rainy circumstances and the sheer will to prevail, even against Max, got him the well-deserved win. A win where only Russell dropped out but with Max and Lando in the race, he had to fight for it. Wouldn't this have taken a lot out of him? Finally getting in the win for MB, Toto, the British audience and himself? 2024 season saved, but now again against all the youth....
Ahoy friendly people. Kudos to Lewis Wow, wow wow! Breaking News!!! Adrian Newey has bought a house in Northamptonshire and will receive shares in Williams, the first team he worked for in F1
I think the biggest problem at RBR is the toxic environment that Horner has built. He pits his drivers against each other. Unless they are the golden boy, I don't think anyone in that team feels secure. Very few people actually excel when they feel they can do to right.
What could’ve been, if Toto would’ve been loyal, if the media would’ve told the truth, if Merc would’ve provided a car, if Merc would’ve offered a good contract, we could have good racing the whole time…
All the words about Lewis is over the hill now. I never believed it. Great race by Lewis he was quick looked after his tyres perfectly and to do it at British GP it was like it was written in the stars for him 9 wins at a race track a record another record. He's a record breaker and the GOAT. So happy for him, it was so emotional for him all the doubts and frustrations over the past 2 ansd a half years it was no wonder he hold those emotions back, great to see his mum and dad there too.
Horner made at least 3 recent mistakes: starting a love interest with Neweys PA, tolerating Perez bad drives and showing pityness to not let Jos Verstappen drive the legend car race. Especially that last thing shows weakness. Horner is mistaken to think that Max will not hate him for it. Max is professional, but once he has choices he will make then against pityful peoples interest. Its a bomb in the making.
>> *CAMERON,, I TOLD YOU on a comment some 3 - 4 months ago... *Just Wait Till Next Year.!! > When, LEWIS gets into that FERRARI, HE WILL BE REJUVINATED !! *HE WILL FEEL LIKE A NEW MAN AND DRIVER.. *JUST WAIT ...
All of us Question Lewis's mortality in this sport... and whether he's put the doubters to bed I'm not sure of , but what I saw today was a Racing Veteran, A 7 TIME WDC take a couple of Fearless upcoming ( and maybe future WDC'S Lando Norris, George Russell ) Bloaks to School on Tyre Management and Race Craft..however it also gave me a newfound respect MV and RB.. say what you will about the organization questionable ethics etc. etc. but their ability to optimize their Race Strategy is 2nd to none ..The RB 20 is not last years RB19 but their call for intermediates to hards for the last stint of the race was ingenious..Simply they beat McLaren with the well timed undercut and the correct call on Tyres.. and let's give credit were credit is due and that is to Team Mercedes because the W15 was just an outright "Beast" in all the FP's, Qualifying, and the race itself..
