Remember that 80s expression, totally tubular? Surf culture slang for being awesome, the term came from catching a wave and riding out the perfect tube of adrenaline-packed bliss.
Well, we’re bringing it back to describe this completely rad trailer we designed for a space launch company to store, transport and display delicate tubing around their factory. The carts are being pulled by Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and feature specialized shelving underneath to cradle the unique tubing, which is secured on pegboard hooks to provide infinite customization options. We optimized the cart design to limit its storage footprint along 12-foot aisles to really take efficiency to the max.

Statement of Understanding-
Customer is seeking a design/quote for an effective way to store, transport, and display unique and delicate tubing with the intent to acquire and utilize many units indefinitely. This towable cart will be designed to easily secure and transport custom tubing around the factory. The minimum length must accommodate 8' long tubing and have an accessible shelf underneath. It will be pulled 200 yards by AGV in Warehouse, rolled onto factory floor 300+ yards by a technician, and stored safely on floor for up to 72 hours.
