the “turning a character into a baby” trope is actually like super present in fandom space. I personally don’t get it but I have seen it like literally everywhere
Tbh it's not that bad, as long as there aren't happening any questionable things between baby character and their love intrest from before they became a baby
I’ll never forget how much of the fandom is misogynistic towards Eliza’s character for “getting in the way” of a gay couple. Its the kind of shipping toxicity that I wish stays buried in the hellhole of 2015’s tumblr.
@@bellac6311 Miku binder Thomas Jefferson and all the “modern” interpretations in the fandom always neglect Eliza. You’d get lucky if they bothered to write her positively, but its always in a poly relationship because Alexander being exclusive with a woman is unthinkable for them 🙃
exactly !! i saw people calling them scamilton i honestly loved the cast i got a tiny bit more, or the same amount of the original cast. they were soo good!!
They are famous, they are dead. Historians do similar stuff. Besides, what the fandom like are basically fictional characters, its like Bungo Stray Dogs or FGO to this point.
As someone who has had demon and human soul encounters, I don't get the hanging onto a thread mentality. I see them as individuals, not who shacked up with who or maybe did/didn't. 🤨 Reminds me too much of Deviantart. 🤢
whew talk about a blast from the past 😳 galactibun was definetly the first to popularize the animatics era, since they were the ones to inspire me to make my first hamilton animatic! also nice video and thank u for mentioning me :33 its funny because it brings back happy memories and middle school cringe all at once
Martha was John Laurens' real wife in history. Apparently, he got married to her after she got pregnant, and he stuck around until he went back to the colonies to fight in the war (he met her abroad in college in Europe). I actually don't know this from the fandom but because I find history fun.
i read a fanfiction where john had been with martha but they divorced bc of turtles and then john got with alexander. it was a lafayette x reader fanfic
@@emmasaurtI dont know what Hamilton is or what is it about but all I know a bully from my classroom last year is dangerously obsessed with hamilton and she mentioned that in every single sentence she says
One of the most interesting things about only experiencing Hamilton through animatics before seeing it, was how Peggy would be portrayed as the sweet, innocent, shy one during Schuyler Sisters. Then when seeing it live (not the og cast and long before Disney+) Peggy was portrayed more like a bratty teen being dragged along by her parents. I can’t remember how she is in the Disney+ version but it always stuck with me how vastly different her characterization could be from just a few lines with nothing but body language.
that's one thing I love about musicals. The fact that another person can play a character and only change their inflection and body language and yet that character can be perceived insanely differently. I wanna say that in the disney+ version she does seem more sweet than you described but I haven't seen it in a while so I can't say for sure.
In the Disney + version, she is kinda like a bratty teen/goodie two shoes and comes off as sheltered as well. She was hesitant and more like “look, I don’t wanna get in trouble, these are rebels!!” Towards the end of the song she fully embraces everyone and joins in. With her “And Peggy.” She rolls or eyes or says it with a 😒/😐 expression on her face. But by the end she was beaming so I guess that was her character development/arch. Plus she is the youngest of the 3 (idk about all 11 sisters though, she may just be the very youngest I honestly can’t remember). But she was not very sweet and innocent like the animatics show lol
As somebody who was never in the Hamilton fandom, this was kind of like looking at a strange new species as a field research project. Completely alien to me lol, the art is soo good oh my gosh!! i love the way you shade and color very inspiring ahhhhdgjdjkgk,,!!
Same, I know basically nothing about Hamilton beyond surface-level stuff, but some of the people in my high school social circle were terrifyingly obsessed with it...This ironically feels like a documentary about some historical event that I missed out on
I like to tell people that I discovered Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure/Tangled the Animated Show via randomly finding an animatic of a Hamilton Zombie Apocalypse AU featuring Laurens attempting to save Hamilton by using the blood of the Schuyler Sisters(?) while Lafeyette and others come to rescue them. Set to Ready As I'll Ever Be. I can't find it anymore but it was a wild ride and also the song was such a bop it got me into a totally different series, which I love to this day!
YES I REMEMBER THAT ONE. it was by Mushie R- their account went through getting hacked and stuff so idk if it’s available anywhere anymore but it might have been reuploaded somewhere!

I remember when I first joined the fandom I was very confused about the whole shipping and AU stuff. Not to say I didn't know what it was, I had been in fandom places before, but I felt uncomfortable ever joining in since they were real people and I was scared the ghosts of the Founding Fathers would haunt me
With real people it does feel wierd but somehow them being dead makes it sort of easier. Also some of their adaptations in other main stream media and my history studies made me okay it. But the ghost one is real.
Oh man. The ham4ham, the groffsauce/lin shipping. The calling cast members "cinnamon rolls", the amino, the Hamilton mixtape, THE WEIRD AL MASHUP. This awakened the need to see a Hamilton iceberg video jsut to prove to myself it was all real.
@@meganelk8202 i was recently looking through some of the hamilton fanfics on a03 because i got bored and man oh man... words can't describe. like it wasn't bad or anything it's just that it was very shocking lmao. like i had to take a minute and step back to fully process what the heck was happening. ofc this obviously coming from someone who wasn't exactly involved in the fandom when it first came out (probably bc i was only 7 and didn't have any socials back then). researching about this fandom is like finding out a new ailen species. it's insane lol. oh and the groffsauce/lin shipping was something else i swear.
@@runawayspacefugitive yeah, I was a bit older when Hamilton came out but was really into it in middle school (of course it was middle school lmao) - and that was before I even knew about Ao3 and got all my fanfics from Wattpad 💀 I have specific memories of drawing fan art of a this Hamilton/Laurens zombie AU animatic and trying to explain to my older sister why I was shipping two founding fathers together Looking back on it now, it’s truly wild how insane the fandom was - I do have a soft spot for my Hamilton era though, but if I remember certain specifics I just want to full body cringe lmaooo
@@runawayspacefugitive OH and the fact that people would do the usual “fandom agreed upon headcanons” (like when a character says in one episode that they like cookies and suddenly that’s their whole personality in the fandom/fanfiction) but apply it to these real historical figures LMAO IT WAS CRAZY I can’t remember any Hamilton hcs off the top of my head but it was WILD

It’s insane how so many people, including me at one point, couldn’t stand casts other than the og broadway one. I wouldn’t go harass anyone but i sure felt disappointed. Now that I’ve actually watched Hamilton twice on west end (it’s more accessible for me), I LOVE WATCHING DIFFERENT CASTS?? It’s so fun to watch different interpretations of the same characters and the same story and lines and songs?? Like genuinely not in a “whatever Hamilton is Hamilton” copium way, but in a genuinely appreciative way. Listening to musicals has been so much more fun ever since I adopted this mindset.
From the outside looking in the Hamilton fandom always struck me as a 'baby's first musical' type community. Like, hyper fixated over this one particular thing but with no actual appreciation for the wider medium.
MASSIVE AGREE!! while i sincerely wish i caught the og cast i got to watch the casts that came to the philippines (TWICE!!!) and the changes in characterization just give so much more to talk about!
As a Hamilton fan at 13-15 who is now 20, this video woke up an entirely inactive section of my brain. The shipping, the fanfictions, the amino, the texting stories, the animatics, the RU-vid compilations, the memes…this video felt like an acid trip😭
The 'this character is a baby now and other characters raise them' is a common-ish trope on japanese sites like Pixiv, so maybe that's where they got the baby au?
Tumblr sounds like it existed in its own pocket dimension. I randomly discovered Hamilton after looking through lin-manuel Miranda's Spotify so I can listen to some in the heights. I really enjoyed what I saw since I already a big fan of his since 2005, and I was pretty shocked to find out that I was late to the Hamilton party since this was October of 2016
@10:53 He wasn't even THAT into turtles. He just drew a few for a journal that got published. People just saw that he drew turtles and fuckin ran with it. As someone involved with the AmeRev community on tumblr (yes 'Hamilton' is an aspect of the community many of us have mixed feelings about) it's been pointed out that John Laurens' actually really enjoyed birds. My man was a bird watcher, he ate turtle soup once or twice. New fan-interpretations of the musical John Laurens often put him as a 'nature-boy' kinda vibe now. Which isn't perfect but it's better than the turtle nonsense.
the hamilton fandom ruined my life because now if i have to go to a social event i will find myself simply standing around, burdened with the knowledge that im the only one there that knows what the To Much Pain | Animal Series hamilton texting story is
I was obsessed with hamilton when i was like. 13-14. I'm 18 now and very embarrassed about it, but it helped me improve my art bc I wanted to get the hair textures more accurate. So while I may cringe at my past, I'm thankful for it bc my art's pretty decent now :)
This video reminded me of when I made a texting story where Aaron Burr liked Hamilton but Hamilton hated him so then they started to duel because Hamilton cheated and then Logan Paul showed up and taught Hamilton to be better. Edit: I uploaded it to my second channel ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zVDFWDB9nQY.htmlsi=Di59TcePNMokg694
As someone who writes fanfic; DONT WRITE FANFICS ABOUT REAL PEOPLE- it is weird, invasive and straight-up creepy. like those one direction and bts and hamilton etc. some celebs might be fine with it and find it funny, but some fanfic writers really need some self-respect
I feel like vtubers expect fanfics about them though, but theres also a clear distinct difference between the REAL PEOPLE and the characters they put on.
This is such a strange take to me in the context of Hamilton. I understand ethical issues with RPF when it comes to people who are still alive, but these men have been dead for centuries and no one who knew them, even secondhand, is still alive either. They were also mostly deeply racist enslavers, one of whom was a child r*pist. I don’t know if it’s worthwhile to get all knotted up over preserving their dignity. Besides, reinterpreting and writing historical fiction about real people has been a thing since forever. The MUSICAL ITSELF is basically fanfic about the real humans. This is like saying things like Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette or Rose of Versailles are unethical because they’re fanfiction about a real person. Yes, true, but like come on it’s Marie Antoinette and she’s been dead for nearly 300 years.
Just wanna add that the reason bunny yams got so hated was their argument that “these are based off of the musical versions of these characters, not the historical” when confronted with slavery back then. they got VERY erratic, and the only reason I remember is because i was actively there at the ripe age of like 11 watching it go down😭. they actually have a new RU-vid and new ocs and seem to be doing better now lol
i used to think that lin manuel miranda made alexander hamilton up. like i genuinely didn’t know he was real (i was like 9 in 2015 😭). my last name is hamilton, so after the musical came out people used to ask me “oh like the founding father?” and i would laugh because i thought they were stupid. uhm…yeah. i still laugh when people ask if i’m related to him though because i’m black…so obviously not lmao
I think one of the reasons why Hamilton didn't make a resurgence in 2020 was because that year saw a huge rise in civil rights activism, particularly regarding Black Lives Matter and related causes. A musical featuring characters based on historical figures who enslaved people, but didn't include the issue of slavery beyond some passing references to it, yet had a POC cast and was heavily based in rap and hip-hop music was being looked at far more critically then, for obvious reasons. As for myself, I was definitely an obnoxious Hamilton fan Back In The Day, but as much as I loved the animatics and fanart and all that, I remember wishing there were more fan spaces for other musicals besides the few that were mainstream and popular in the day (my favorite being Sweeney Todd). Nowadays, I take a pretty gray stance on Hamilton; I can recognize the artistry of the performers and Miranda's lyricism, while also recognizing it's a pretty dated product of Obama-era US culture. Public perception of Dear Evan Hansen is definitely changing as its audience is maturing as well; it used to be seen as inspirational and Evan as a sympathetic character, but many people, especially those who are disabled or neurodivergent, are now considering the show's themes to be quite hollow, and Evan to be manipulative and creepy. I'm fascinated to see how today's popular media will be revisited in the future!
@@Spongyboi897 It was popular, but it didn't receive a big resurgence to its former levels of popularity. Compare to Twilight, which had a "renaissance" among older fans who liked it as teenagers.
There were critical questions about this when the show came out, but because HAMILTON was so cost prohibitive. There were a lot of scholars who were very critical. They were told to be quiet. Then when it came to Disney ➕️, other people could finally see and make opinions of themselves.
So, I guess I have an insane Hamilton fandom story of my own. I was an insane Hamilton fan like it was my special interest when I was 12/13 in 7th-8th grade and I heard a story on the news about someone sending Lin a letter and I was like !! I want to do that. And... I DID????? I sent him a letter with FANART. HAMILTON FANART. AND, not only that, BUT A LETTER AND A PICTURE OF MYSELF?????? I didn't know what to expect BUT months and months later I got a letter in the mail BACK FROM HIM?????
@@caramelpuppy777 "Faith- Thank you kindly for your sweet and thoughtful letter. Your support of 'Hamilton' means the world! I was delighted to read that the music has further fostered your love of history. Thank you also for the wonderful drawings. Here's wishing you and Maddi a wonderful school year. Happy trails!" I don't remember a lot of what I wrote, Maddi was a friend of mine who also was a big fan of Hamilton so I added her in my letter haha
Yeah Im pretty sure thats what it was, the tongue is even sometimes visible at the same time as the heart so it doesnt make sense for the heart to be the tongue
I started out in the Warrior Cats fandom, so my introduction and the way I interacted with the Hamilton fandom was very different to most. I was introduced to it through Warrior Cat maps using the songs (Most notably the Non Stop map with Firestar and Onestar). Since my first fandom and the one I started to draw in was warrior cats, I was not comfortable at all with drawing humans. To counteract this and still make fanart for Hamilton I made cat designs for the characters. I sometimes even roleplayed with the characters as cats. My friend and I both made quite a few cat designs, some of which were even featured on the front page of (shudder) Hamilton Amino. I did have a roleplay I did with some friends that weren't cats and that was... interesting. From what I remember we loved incorporating facts of the IRL people, like how Hercules Muligan had children and how John Laurens had a wife and daughter. We made some... interesting choices to say the least. I remember that since Hercules' children didn't all have names, we took it upon ourselves to give them some. The one I remember the most was Eros, named after a god like Hercules. The funniest thing about that is one of my friends got a horse around that time and named it Eros because of the roleplay and still has that horse with that name. Another weird decision we made was, in an effort to keep John Laurens gay like was popularly headcanoned, I made it so he was drunk and trying to force himself to be straight with Martha. I also for some reason made his father a raging homophobe who would gladly have his son executed if her found out which I mean I guess it makes sense for the time but it was really just so we could have angst and drama related to sexuality since we were all like 12-15 and starting to explore our own sexuality. Basically interacting with the Hamilton fandom solely through Amino and mainly drawing cats as you are going through puberty leads to some very questionable things, like drawing founding fathers as cats or making story lines with founding fathers centered around sexuality. It really was an experience.
Hamilton was basically my stepping point into being a full blown history nerd. It basically changed my course of life. Before, I was adamant about doing something music related and being a world famous singer, and now here I am in college to become a storyboard artist, making animatics for a living and hopefully storyboard a whole TV show inspired by my love of history. I will say Szin had an absolute impact on me when I was 14. I still see her influence on my art. and Hybrid Heroes is awesome. Oh boy the shipping. Thankfully, I was more of a canon purist, but did like to dabble on other ships for fun. But shipping wasn't really my thing. I'd look more from the sidelines. Hamilton has a warm place in my heart, and even though I don't think about it to often today. It really left a big impact.
Oh my god when I was younger and in the Hamilton fandom I followed the bunny person, I totally remember the baby au. It’s so weird getting flashbacks from this video, because I knew about almost ALL of this stuff lmao
As someone who only watched Hamilton in 2023 and started to get into the fandom (not that much) this video is very informative. Thank you! Also your art is so yummy heheuehdgdsuhzsgsi
i was in this fandom from 2020-2021 (mostly 2021) after the disney+ release during covid and so there weren’t as many people in the fandom, but there was definitely still a fandom and yeah, it was wild 😭
as a theater girlie who has never been and will never be into hamilton, even at its peak, i will never get tired of studying its fandom and watching youtubers dissect every single bit of discourse that happens in it. hamilton is the only show that simultaneously entertains me and also doesn't entertain me. truly fascinating!
I haven’t listened to Hamilton music for ages either but the lyrics are permanently engrained into my brain 😭 also I was into it mostly because the women were pretty and I didn’t know I was a lesbian yet LOLL
omg at 21:53 about the AU where one of the characters turns into a baby/toddler and all the other characters take care of them, it seems like it's kind of a recurring fandom trope since I've seen that in other fandoms too. it kind of bugs me, I just personally don't understand the appeal at all, and it feels extra weird if the creator has a ship with one of the characters they babyfied??? I guess so you could see the soft/paternal side of a character, but like why not just use a character who's canonically younger or make up a baby then?
I was in the hamilton fandom for a little bit. Then i saw miku binder jefferson. I left. I got back into drawing fanart of it when i was reading a lot of journals by historical figures and got to aaron burr's. I think him mentioning eating 2 pounds of grapes in one journal and then putting some of his food instead of syrup, then thinking he was in hell (i believe? Or wished he was dead?) was a very funny part
i am still haunted by the comic where Hamilton got braces and got made fun of by Jefferson for it 😭 they are real people in their 50s at that point wtfff
The fact that these people were REAL PEOPLE and they built a whole damn fandom off of this film, it’s crazy that they’d also make headcanons off key word: REAL PEOPLE lmfao.
As someone who HATED Hamilton (I still am a Revolutionary war history nut, it's not my style and while I get the novelty something has always bothered me about swaps of any kind for any real life person) and as someone who has no desire to see it in any format, i have to say this was a really interesting look at a fandom that I steered clear from. Wow... miku binder jefferson is as cringe as i remember seeing originally while net scumming. Great job on the video
Kinda glad all I was familiar with for Hamilton when I got into it during the pandemic was the Disney plus release and the animatics. I even did fanart for it. Glad I didn’t get into the deep pit of hell until later which oof. Also Anthony and Jas, I was rooting for them and that honestly still devastates me. It really, really does. 😭😭😭
i was in the fandom february 2020-now and prolly forever! j remeber hearing in may or smthn that hamilton will be on disney+ and i legit was so excited as i was obsessed with it the couple months before that it’s funny i found out about hamilton the same year it came out on disney, but way before that😭😭
I'm really young to the fandom (got into it this year), but you don't understand the enormous fight or flight response I got when Miku Binder Jefferson appeared
there actually *was* a twilight renaissance on tumblr a few years back! a lot of posts about how it was great and that people only hated it because they were misogynistic and things like that (ignoring all the, you know, Glaring issues that could make someone uncomfortable with it)
i was never in this fandom but the heart mouth is taken from the anime osomatsu-san (which the scribs artist confirmed at some point was the inspiration) including the broken heart tongue thing which was also in an episode of the anime
The kid transformation fic was such a big trope across fandoms on AO3 back then. I saw it in a lot of the ones I was in then and i even really liked many of the fics with it. Now that I’m much older and disconnected, I’m still not sure why I liked that trope. Maybe it was about seeing people dote on my faves? Idk Lol
I just entered my hamilton phase im pretty late into the party… Thank you for sharing this insightful video of hamilton it rlly taught me more abt the fandoms prime!!
the fandom is actually insane. i used to run a hamilton fan account (LMAOOO...) and its terrifying how ppl behaved.. some ppl would harass lins wife its so weird lol
I've been in the Hamilton fandom since like 2017?? And this takes me back dude! I'm still interested in the history of the characters, and I still kinda read fanfics (tho it's hard to find good ones aha) This was a good trip down memory lane, made me kinda nostalgic too!
I was in the fandom in late-2018 and all of 2019 and Miku Binder Thomas Jefferson has always confused me. LIKE, THESE ARE REAL PEOPLE/ACTORS YOU'RE MODIFYING!!! Then, I found out about In The Heights and then 2020 happened and Hamilton coming to streaming on Disney Plus and I was back to that fandom. Just so you know, this all sort of started with an obsession with Leslie Odom Jr. that was not related to Hamilton. I'm also surprised you didn't mention other cast members who were in the show like Jordan Fisher, who played Laurens/Phillip after Ramos.
never understood the hamilton x reader fics. simping for a founding father is crazy also ur not alone i remember the spamilton account, thought it was the funniest thing ever side note: does anyone else remember those "washington is a foster parent with his wife martha and all of the characters are kids that he adopted and hamilton is the newest addition" AUs? or is that just me?
i wasn't really in the hamilton fandom when it was at its height. i don't even live in the us so i have zero idea who the founding fathers even were. it was only after hamilton got into disney+ that i watched it, mostly to know what the hype was about. i had to admit that the songs really were great, they're all earworms, and satisfied lives rent free in my head. but i saw some of the fandom drama going on, and oh boy. the hivliving one feels like a fever dream, looking back.
21:52 - while I haven’t seen this AU and can’t speak to its weirdness in particular, de-aging characters for shenanigans is a decently common AU or crack fic premise. It’s more prevalent in some fandoms than others, but iirc the trope goes all the way back to the old 70s-80s Star Trek fan zines.
I got into the Hamilton fandom in a really weird way. So, back when I was 11 or 12, I was in 6th grade when I discovered a book series called Alex & Eliza by Melissa de la Cruz; I read the first book and found out that it was about the actual Alexander Hamilton. It wasn't long before animatics were popping up on my RU-vid and I ended up listening the soundtrack everyday for the rest of middle school. Soon after I became a Freshmen, I left the fandom. I really miss it because the fandom inspired my love for history and art. Sometimes I go back a do a redraw of old fanart or just drew some quick little sketch for fun. But it also inspired me to do a Government Competition held in my state; I don't know if it's anywhere else, if you know, you know. I got really good at it; especially because when I was in middle school I read the entirety of the Federalist Papers. I don't think I would've done so well in US History and Advanced Government if it weren't for the Hamilton Musical and my deepdive into 1700s- early 1800s US History.
I love your art! The dresses remind me of those rubber dresses that my Disney princess toys would have when I was a kid. And aside from unlocking a memory it just looks very joyful and pretty.
I only watched the musical this last spring but I'm lowkey nostalgic for old meme culture so I enjoyed some of this, as well as the baguette lafayette Tumblr post. It's clever & corny and I love it. I've been in quite a few fandom spaces before so I'm not really phased by the miku binder jefferson AU. (Not to mention I've known about miku binder jefferson for years. Everybody has.) I'm actually quite intrigued, and when I learned a couple months ago that there were more of those character sheets it excited me. Not really into it but it's entertaining from a distance.
I remember writing fanfic when i was really young for Hamilton, and before i started i used to clarify i was writing about the characters not the real life men so they wouldn’t come haunt me cause i felt embarrassed 😭😭
My social studies teacher put a Hamilton’s animatic into an assignment. It was “one last time” and I think it was by the one who does the heart in the mouth thing, the art style was similar
i was a hamilton fan in the fandom and this video was just a fun blast in the past up until bunnieyams and the baby au that was like whiplash they did a braces au too anyways good video
The Hamilton fandom was my first experience in fandom when I was around 9-10. Thankfully I couldn’t actively participate as I wasn’t allowed to have a social media account but I watched a lot of animatics and other fan videos. I now remember a lot of the stuff I watched and am like “Jesus Christ I was a weird ass kid”
Hamilton has a weird place in my heart. I remember seeing all the fandom exploding on Tumblr, but never watching any of the bootlegs or listening to the music. When the movie was put onto Disney+ I remember being excited to FINALLY get to see it, but I still just never got around to it. Cut to 2022, after my husband was diagnosed with cancer (he's in remission now :) ) I was in search of just SOMETHING to distract me for a little while, so I ended up watching it. I remember crying like a baby, and from that moment on I watched it quite often and bought the soundtrack. I even listened to the soundtrack while in the hospital with my husband after surgeries. Now, in 2023, I have a...weird relationship with it. It's hard to listen to because it reminds me of those times, but I still love it, and really hope that sometime soon I'll be able to watch it again and NOT feel that way.
i used to unfortunately be a huge hamilton fan and it wasn’t until i was well out of middle school that i realized how mf weird the fandom is, i’ve wanted a video essay about this topic for so long😭i love hearing from people who also have hamilton trauma🤞
honestly i'm surprised that the weird baby au thing was listed as the weirdest thing you're aware of in the fandom because that is actually a somewhat established fanfic/fanart trope that i've seen.... many places elsewhere. like i will say it is weird and uncomfortable like thats a 100% a fair response LMAO it's just not necessarily unique- you ask where op got the idea and... well it's one that floated around a lot, esp in those days. i do think to some extent it's a fairly dated trope, like, i don't think you'd find it in modern fandoms made up of primarily teenagers, but i have seen fics with the trope somewhat recently in the star wars fandom, which is full of a lot of older fans. (i havent touched star wars fandom in ~2 years but i mean thats not that long) i've been in/adjacent to a lot of wildly different fandoms with wildly different mediums/fanbases and while some fandom things are pretty universal, it is pretty interesting to see what things /seem/ universal but are more sectioned off to bigger groups of fandoms around similar pieces of media. like, for some things x reader fics are EVERYWHERE and you're just completely overwhelmed by them and then for other things they're a very niche rarity. i feel like the weird aged down character trope is definitely one of those types of things.
god im so glad i didn't knew hamilton at the time the fandom was strong bc i would definitely have being part of the shiping part of the fandom💀 (sorry for bad english)
