I love how much Chris is like the dad figure of the cast. Everytime someone had their final curtain call he always made sure they got the recognition they deserved. And I love how Lin was reluctant to do another bow with just him because he didn't think he was more important than the other's,so he just gave a small bow. I JUST LIVE THESE HUMAN BEINGS THEY ARE THE BEST.
I thought it was more of a " how do I reply to all these appluse and adoration" or something. Like when you get a compliment but at a loss of what to say

It's honestly hilarious because Lin legit cuts his hair the second he leaves the theater so I'm over here like: "Linny doesn't hesitate, he exhibits no restraint, he takes and he takes and he takes"...all the hair off his shoulders.
LIN HAS THIS THEATRE SUPERPOWER WHERE HE CAN LITERALLY SPOT A FILMER ANYWHERE. HE CHANGES HIS LYRICS TO MAKE THEM STOP DURING THE SHOW. HE STARES AT THEM. HE REPORTS THEM M I D S H O W AND HAS THEM KICKED OUT HE IS SO PROTECTIVE OF THIS AND IM CRYING WITH LAUGHTER
I’m guessing: 1) The West Wing is probably one of Lin’s favorite shows ,and 2) TWW ran for many years, as did Lin’s participation in Hamilton, and the endings to both shows were devastating for fans
@@SeasonsChange14 The West Wing was a huge inspiration for Lin, I highly recommend the "Hamilton Special" episode of The West Wing Weekly podcast with Lin-Manuel Miranda and Thomas Kail if you haven't heard it yet, Lin and Thomas talk about this, the show, and other general influences.
there's always the new cast!! It sucks you can't see the original group but the new guys are really good as well, it might just take some getting used to :)
Oh lord, 0:21 these are grown up actors who get on stage in front of thousands without hesitating. And now look at them, being ashamed of taking their final bow. I can't. I am crying like renee and jazzy lmao
1:13 1:32 notice how the crowd screams when Lin bows again just by himself. I mean he is the man responsible for creating this whole thing. His final gig in the lead title role before he retired was kind of like leaving a project of the masterpiece he created.
@@xihlengankuzana3959 That's the problem. These original members have worked closely together before OFF-BROADWAY. Day in and day out learning, rehearsing, and recording raps and every rap song Lin-Manuel couldn't use for time sake. Learning choreography from Andy Blankenbeuhler (YOU count how many numbers he choreographed and don't forget the beginning choreography of the rap song "Satisfied" is a sequence of choreography for t "Helpless" but choreographed BACKWARDS!!!). Lord only knows how long each day lasted. So again, these folks are together 8 days a week before Broadway, then they perform two shows twice a day, 8 days a week ON BROADWAY. Renée, Phillipa and Jasmine shared a dressing room and became bonded like real sisters. The fact I even bothered to explain this tiny bit of detail annoys me at you. There's nothing as irritating as a person who doesn't get bonded relationships Broadway related or not. I cried when I graduated from High School because I was going to miss some of my classmates I wouldn't see again. I cried when I made it through Army Basic Training because I damn well deserved to relieve 8 weeks of grueling mental and physical training and some men flunked out. I cried for joy when my Army battered brain and body was able to transfer to the Air Force and I cried on July 4th 2022 because after serving 27 years in two branches of the U.S. Military, I retired. I made friends for life. My saying all of that is to point out each time and original cast member leaves, a replacement without the same chemistry takes on the vacated roles until no original member is left. I would rather have my final show to be with the Hamilton, Eliza, Burr and the Bullet instead of one character at a time.
I was blessed to be at this performance.The audience was AMAZING! Standing O's for Chris Jackson after OLT and Leslie after RWIH. Both Lin and Leslie at the beginning had to wait like a minute for the audience to stop cheering. There was not a dry eye in the crowd :').
Oh my god this is making me cry, I can't explain how powerful this musical is, I don't even know how it is, it just is, and I don't think any musical would ever be the same.
This is the sweetest thing ever! Chirs making sure they are all remembered, Renee and pippa crying, leslie hugging them and Lin kissing pips on the way out! It’s all so cute? I’m cryinggggg
These guys saved me, and I just wish I could tell them that. Whenever someone left the show, I felt like I lost a close friend. Goddammit, I didn't mean for this to be all feely.
11 ppl liked it so much that they beat the system and turned their phone upside-down so they could like it again. What they didn't realise is that you can only like something once.
Last performances always make me cry.... even when it was just my camp play when I was 13, and I had 2 performances the second one I cried at the end....
they are me and my friends after a show tho!😂 were always messing around with each other, joking and such! last show i was in, i was the villain and my best friend was like the mom and during curtain call we always got to stand next to each other, and it was just the greatest XD
