They should bring back this kind of press conference after qualif and Race. It was a real moment to be class or answering correctly, this era was so good. Liberty Media should considering bringing back theses press conferences 🤝
Webber thumping the glass of water will always be my favourite press conference moment. Speaking of drinks, damn they got orange juice or something there.
@@nachof248 Yeah they made fernando wait so hamilton would have the slipstream. Also when they saw alonso wasnt improving the time on the first sector, the team told hamilton he could abort his attempt, so hamilton slowed down. So idk why is hamilton looking at the goat like that
@@oskrcpd7513Fernando is a great. But he’s not in the Goat conversation lol. People want him to be so badly. His race:win ratio and total points not even close to Hamilton. Took him two years to win his first race. Hamilton won first year. Hamilton has tripled Alonso wins, doubled his points, and done it in 6 less years.

bro this is a fucking piece of art, here they are post qualifying. lewis has one of the faces of all time, nodding his head and moving his fingers aggresively from obvious stress anger is causing. and here is fernando doing everything he can to ignore lewis' aura beside him, pouring juice listening to the question and shit. and then question ends lewis turns to fernando like "go ahead, mf" and then nando starts going off with his thick accent. i watched this shit like fifty times
It’s crazy how everyone thinks the goat is in the middle, when Hamilton sitting right there just getting hated on. This man is the Marc Marquez of F1. Generational talent and everyone hates on him for it.
his body language and confidence is incredible for a rookie- especially against a champion. he feels and acts like he belongs - not just in f1- but at the very front. try and think back to how you feel at your first job- i was on the fries - and i was not giving the grill man any shit.
It's easy to act confident when you know the team will unconditionally have your back over your teammates, and so will the predominantly British run media as well.

@@Ankush.8No he didn’t 😂 Do your research - The Ferrari in 2010 & 2011 was faster - Alonso himself spoke about Lewis’ talent winning in a less than great car in 2009 & 11. The main reason Alonso finished ahead in 2012 was because his car and team ran like clockwork in 2012 - Not a single mechanical DNF the whole season. Hamilton retired from 1st 3 times and lost well over 100 points through no fault of his own.
@@robertmorgan7307McLaren that year outscored Ferrari, by a lot actually. Their points total got erased for the constructors title due to spygate. Wasn't Hamilton's fault at all. Lol. That year was weird. Fernando tried to politic his way into being the definite number 1 driver but rookie Hamilton was just too quick.
McLaren: Ron Dennis: We are racing against Alonso Softs for Lewis, Hards for Fernando in a qualifying session... Pictures, videos and photos speak by themselves...
You should know that Alonso was the one that made that choice u bloody id***. Mclaren litterly sabotaged Lewis for half of the season with putting on wrong tires and gicing him way to much fuel to slow him down. Alonso even paid his mechanics to sabotage Lewis so gtfo.
Easy explanation for one Ferrari: they forgot to gas up his car. The other one, I will never know either since Raikkonen was a beast around that track.
This was 2007 when BMW weren't too bad and iirc was either the year or the year before the year Kubica got peed off BMW stop funding that seasons car for next.
did he really expect for alonso to be disrespected and lied to and do nothing about it? he took pole with the hard tyre, lets not forget that, and mclaren (his own team, which had both of their cars in 1-2) did not appeal the protest at all, ruining his race and im supposed to believe that hamilton was not the favored driver???
USED HARDS VS NEW SOFTS... Imagine your boss does this to you like Ron did to Alonso... KNOWING IT WAS ALONSO S TURN TO HIT THE LAST LAP.. How stupid people are if they think Lewis beated Fernando 😂😂😂😂
Hamilton had won the psychological battle by a landslide with sheer driving ability by this point. Dude was a ROOKIE against a reigning double champion. And folk reckon there are better drivers. 😂
Watching from Brazil at the time, I remember the Brazilian media reporting that the relationship between Fernando and mclaren was terrible. That mclaren had given Hamilton a fresh set of soft while giving Fernando the harder compound. I’ll never know what truly was happening, if it’s just Fernando being toxic that led the team to clearly favor lewis, or if it’s the favoring that led to the toxicity from Fernando. But this battle was neither clean nor fair. And I’m happy that both of them lost that season. Mclaren was a joke.
Nando has way too much pressure and it was his worst season. Still he was better than him on average, but ended with the same points because of that idiotic penalty. He got his shit together mid season when he lost a lot of points already. That being said, hamilton was absolutely amazing.
@@eduardosantana8300that's pretty much it in the first line of the second paragraph, Alonso held the team to ransom and therefore they gravitated towards Lewis. Ron even said they were racing Fernando
@@richboy900 that would mean that Fernando tied Lewis on points even though his own team was against him and favoring Lewis. I don’t know what’s more impressive, if it’s rookie Lewis being able to keep up with Fernando through a season (albeit he had already countless hours in testing in a real formula 1 car by the time he raced his first race), or that Fernando was able to beat someone as talented as Lewis even though the team was against him.
@ unless he has won more than a hundred poles and races, he is not a centurion. races results are announced after each race and championship results are announced at the end of every season, not after winter testing.
this is hilarious watching people argue which driver is the dirty one. pretty sure everyone in the sport is dirty, you dont get to the top by being a boyscout. senna and schumacher werent exactly the cleanest guys either. this is just how racing is
Big egos. One and all. That's what makes them as competitive and selfish as they are when they're out on track and as you've rightly pointed out they're all the same
Lewis never was a roocky manipulating a team needless to say with the denis' back as a support Look in perspective right now in 2023....and realize Who is clean and Who is dirty
Only time in F1 a team’s top management request the FIA to investigate one of it’s own driver for a penalty ! Ron Dennis is a disgrace, Hamilton started this in practice.
I am not against Hamilton but Mclaren and most F1 teams! It is all about the Recocrds like FIRST, MOST, LONGEST RECORD,... which attracts most of the fans, in Lewis-Mclaren way it was the FIRST black driver which it is bigger than a British driver in a British team. Just like Nikki Lauda said to Lewis to move to Mercedes: "Imagine being the FIRST champion in Mercedes" which became a way way better decision.
Ron Dennis ruined that year for Fernando. Lewis was a spoiled kid and got his favour. Shame that his happened to the better driver just for the sake of english support
That smug look on Hamilton’s face is the reason he is hated as a champion. The way he deliberately undermined his colleagues like Rosberg …. He’s a spoilt brat!
Yeah yeha. We are all still waiting for someone to point to the actual rule that justified that penalty for Alonso after Hungary’s qualifying session. Not for that penalty, Alonso would have won that championship with some margin.
This was "F1 is racist against me" Hamilton. Fast forward, 7 time champion. Ridiculous attempt to act like some victim despite being a literal F1 driver.
The true priceless reaction is the face of Ron Denis just after his two cars get 1-2 pole positions... Just happens that the 1st is Alonso, what an irony, his own team complains, Alonso get a penalty. They lose championship.
He and all British presenters were informed to snipe Alonso as much as possible. British tv loved the fact that they and McLaren were getting under his skin with their Hamilton bias. McLaren probably regretted it after it cost them the title but hey ho.
"Yes, Fernando, that was strange wasnt it? How odd that happened? What a misfortune for me Fernando! I too am interested in what went wrong because certainly a person of your character would never impede his teammate! Go on, go ahead...explain yourself"
Is hilarious these guys tied on points. There will never be a clear winner on who’s the better driver. Hamilton has an edge over one lap qualifying but I’d say Fernando has better racecraft. Still, Lewis is probably a bit quicker overall

So Hamilton had already disobeyed a team instruction during the session which put Alonso at a disadvantage...Alonso simply decided to balance that up by fecking Lewis's qualifying in return , so as much as he can act all agreived and hard done by he's just as culpable as his teammate. I'm actually happy neither of them won the title that year because of those antics , shows being a dickhead doesnt always pay 😂.
I know a lot of people will hate me for this. Alonso always was a dirty driver. Does anybody beilive He didnt know about the Crash issue in Singapore...Ummm..just one sample
I love how Lewis turns to Fernando. Like “I can’t wait to hear this” 🤣 I can’t stand Hamilton nowadays but I liked him in his first two years. I couldn’t stand Alonso back then but I’ve loved him ever since he moved to Ferrari. Funny how times change.
@@kinduvabigdeal100 Yeah… no… I loved Michael Schumacher when he was winning. Kimi Räikkönen is my favourite Formula 1 driver of all time and I’ve loved him since day one back in 2001. He grew up and matured with Ferrari, that’s when I started to like him. He was still winning races, nearly winning in 2010 and 2012. I liked Hamilton until he started lying to the stewards to escape penalties in 2009, slagging off McLaren for “letting him finish in front of Jensen for once” when at that point in the 2010 season he had beaten Jensen 4-3, and when he started crashing into Massa on a daily basis back in 2011 and accusing the stewards of being racist for penalizing him for crashing into people. Not to mention his whining and complaining every single race, whether he was winning or not. I can’t stand him because he’s annoying as fuck. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

@@KyleJkNOwLedGe so you're saying that it's Alonso's fault if Ron Dennis and McLaren copied Ferrari's car? Ron Dennis can talk trash about Alonso all he wants but probably he does that just to cheer himself up and avoid thinking that during that year, he managed to lose a championship with the best car and probably two of the most skilled drivers on the grid.
@copernicus1754 No, not saying Alonso was involved in the actual spying. Fernando was upset that as the 2x reigning champion, he thought he should have #1 priority no matter what. After the Hungary qualifying debacle, he threatened Ron and said he'd go to the FIA with his internal emails about cheating. Ron then snitched on himself to Max Mosley. You're right that Ron Dennis screwed everything up, but rookie Lewis Hamilton rattled Alonso so bad that he destroyed the rest of his career with that one stupid move.
I like how he looked at him when it was time to give an answer lol. It was so satisfying watching hamilton outrank lonso on his rookie year and alonso going back to a midfield renault just to not compete against ham again lol
@@isaacm2374not faster than him but as fast as he is. But main thing is that Hamilton is british in british team so they decide to give him a better car with better strategy. What McLaren do to Alonso that year is for prison at least. We could enjoy proper racing between them in many years after but they decide to be 💩
I'm an Alonso fan and I still think what he did here was wrong. I get why he did it, though, since Lewis failed to keep an agreement before, but still. Both were wrong, lol
I know it sounds like a lie but, Alonso said there was a team radio saying the team was holding him back. Has McLaren ever prove it wrong? And why not?
Its not a very unusual decision, Alonso could not handle that as a world champion he would be accorded equal status as Lewis and not preferential as at Renault. The delays were him getting angry, and he constantly got angry that season yet was fighting for the championship - pretty far from hamilton being favoured.
Before 2007 season, when Alonso was having another engine,in another team, another rules, another type of tyres(back then were more tyres manufacturers and each was developing their tyres to work well at a preticular team but not the same on another team, like Ferrari&Bridgestone,McLaren&Michelin), not under british sponsors pressure, was fighting a 7 times wdc for his 2nd championship, the rookie Hamilton was driving the car for 30.000 miles comfortable, getting used with it,techniqualy, he was not a rookie anymore. The 2007 season itself was about Ron Dennis’ ambition to win the edc with a British rookie in a british team, the entire team was by Hammy boy s side, being helped with race strategy, having fresher tyres or being helped with data telemetry from Alonso, while Fernando has just his engineer by his side, was constantly screwed by nonsense pit calls or being given old tyres, the components on the car … there s nothing to be said, just watch qualifying sessions and notice which tyres were having any of them… Alonso fought that season an entire team not a little rookie, and is still amazing how well he performed until the end. Most disgusting thing in here was Ron Dennis’ clause of letting him leave the team just in the case of not signing a rival team for 2 years(meaning Ferrari, that s why if anyone wonders why a 2 times wdc, maybe the best f1 driver on the grid at that time, was wasting his time at a middlefield team instead of being at Ferrari … but his lack of luck played a huge role as long as he had offers from Red Bull or Brawn GP) If Fernando were at Ferrari in 2008-2009, as nr 1 driver, no politics,no screwings, he were for sure wdc in 2008 at least, washing the 2007 season by destroying Hamilton on track in 2008. He showed more determination, tehniqualitiy, ambition and talent than Hamilton in 2010-2013 driving a worse car than Hamilton s but finishing the season every year above him but in wcc Ferrari haven’t finished above McLaren… As well their fightings, like Mexic 2017 or Hungary 2021, Hamilton s rooketship vs Alonso s garbage McLaren/Alpine, he maganed to held him back for a while… You can call Hamilton as being better than Alonso just by numbers on the paper… which are losing credibility race by race when Hamilton wins nothing or makes rookie mistakes.
