Dale Trayner have you tried Firehouse subs? Best sandwiches on the planet for me so far and they’re in that price range. Hamilton’s looks like they’re not skimping on meat which is why I left Subway. I got tired of my Subway bun with mayo and lettuce and no meat.
Hey Jack, so great you're sharing the spotlight with a great local family run food businesses that really delivers the goods. And in this case, its all true.Through this, I'm hoping this establishment can benefit through all your viewers. Way to go.
Really cool you showcase other places. To me, this is what makes a great channel! Showing us what you think is good without making it all about your establishment.
A sandwich shop that respects its customers. Here in the Midwest they are concerned about the dollar and they skimp. Make it big, tasty, and we’ll come back for more. Love the video big guy!
Subway skimped on meat and lost me forever. Firehouse is my favorite as they load the meat up like this place, but they toast the sandwich before serving. Insanely good food.
The boiled ham n swiss grinder is the birthplace of my love for sandwiches as a kid. We ate them at a park with some beautiful trees, perfect for climbing. The battle between sandwich and pizza, I love them both, the proper sandwich wins every time. ✌️❤️
I recently moved to Virginia from NYC and nothing compares to the food of the North East. Grinders, Hoagies, Subs, Pizza hands down the Northeast part of the country has the best food. Jack love your stuff keep it coming brother
On Sat., as a kid my brothers and sisters would walk to Catechism, right past the Italian bakery 🥯!! They would get the sweets but I always went for the garlic bread!! Oh yum 😋!! Still, to this day, makes my mouth water 💧!! The Sisters would say “Stopped at the bakery, now ‘didgha’?”...Don’t know if it was the garlic on my breath or the butter drippin’ down my chin😉 Good times, good food, good people and good memories 😍 It made missing Saturday morning cartoons totally worth it!
“We have our moments” about her relationship with daughter and concept of family run businesses. I think if you read between the lines, she’s saying do not do it.
I'm in Cali. Originally from tri-state area in ny. I realized these filling, delicious sandwiches are a regional specialty. I MISS THEM SO MUCH. Thanks for another great video!
@@davelester3357 Yup its different in different parts of the country . Here in Hershey Pa ,we call those 2 sandwiches ,subs . A grinder is a warm toasted sub.
Holy Guacamole 🙈😳 When she put that shaved ham in there I was like 👊🏼 In Love ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Light on the Lettuce, I have to drive 💃 and the writing on the boards, absolutely perfect ♥️
I've never seen such a large baguette filled with meat like that! It's huge. If I ever get to America again I'd love to visit DJ's and then call into this place just for coffee and to watch. Regards Luke uk.
All I can say is OMG !!! I want two of each ..... From Jersey , now in LA for some time now and ya just can't get those out here .....What a shame .... LOL Thanx Jack for sharing this amazing deli place !!!!!
Can’t believe you don’t like horseradish! Did a Baltimore pit beef sandwich at the restaurant for a feature a few weeks ago. Pit beef, onions, and horseradish tiger sauce equals a perfect combination of flavors.
Oh Jack!!!!?? This is the President Of The Montana Chapter Of The Daddy Jack's Fan Club!!! You just broke my heart with the no horseradish mayo comment!!! No worries... You are still the best!
I am not gonna take away from the showcase of this place, Cause It looks awesome, And I only ever found one other place that does this, Where they literally stuff them and make them that BIG. That was Pasta Fresca in Mystic, CT across from the train station, I don't know If they are still there or even If they still make it for the same price. To get a grinder that size there, It was literally less then $8. Unfortunately I live in Florida now, and I can say you will never find a place down here that makes them like that. Actually finding a good grinder at all down here Is a miracle In It's own right. Though I think I might have found a fair enough place that I can deal with. However I know this place here Is awesome, And I really wish I could go to It. Awesome Job Hamilton Street Market!!!
Hey Jack, you should check out Pasta Fresca in downtown Mystic. This place looks great. I will have to check it out. Love your videos. I gotta get over to your place too. Your the man.
If you love grinders you should really try the grinders from Coronis market in Newport New Hampshire! I’ve never had a better sandwhich than from there! Top tier
