The image of Hamish in the bodybuilding line up in 2011 became a meme of ‘when your trainer is bullshitting you’ ...but the truth was, coach Andy tried his absolute best!
@@HandSolitude most people in bodybuilding don't like it when people do this. there are people who spend years preparing for the show, then some comedian thinks it's the right place to try to make a spectacle and steal the spotlight. maybe if it was the first time it ever happened, but it's been done dozens of times.
Bb Yy Anyone who spends months to look, quite frankly, grotesque, quite likely has body appearance issues, it isn’t athleticism, or fitness, or even their best version of themselves, it’s a disorder. Yes I’m a qualified Gym Instructor & Personal Trainer
@@joebloggs9546 Competing is about the Love for the sport, lifestyle and to become the best at something so difficult to be the best at. Bodybuilding is one of the best things to happen to you if done correctly. Extreme drug abuse and wrong lifting are two reasons why that often isnt the case though. And yes, body issues are very much Welcome. Only if never satisfied you are able to keep working hard and improve yourself, nothing Bad about that.
That’s cause they replay the recorded clips at a live audience, somewhere on earth, and they upload the video with the audience cheering in the background, and if you have seen the live audience, that is what they sound like. The cheering is not from where they filmed it.
They play the clip during their own show which is filmed infront of a live audience and their audio is heard over the clip as well. Same in all their tv show clips.
Actually kind of feel for the guys who worked so long to get that body and get done on a technical. But it is so great that Hamish Blake was actually the winner of the 2011 New York State Bodybuilding (Heavyweight Division)
Yeah judges shouldn't take anything serious like mma, why can't they let the loser win for jokes??? Your mindset is fucked Michael sorry to say but that's not how judges are
It's a sport they are passionate about and he's kind of making a mockery of it. I enjoyed the video and thought it was funny, but I can understand how they could see it as disrespectful
Michael Ironside- Since 9-11 and now Corona , we "typical NYers" have lost our sense of humor. So happy god blessed you with a residency in a fun place and damned me to this hell hole called "The Greatest City in the World" 😁 As for the judges, it's called editing. The judges were shown while they were judging one of the actual contestants. So yes they were serious. As hopefully judges in your happy place would be when doing their job properly.
They would have been laughing, i think most of it was comedic editing 😜 getting shots of them still face and making it seem awkward. Hilarious. But I do agree about NYers 😂
@@kilmer009 tbh it's easy to get near that body shape naturally working out, legs are terrible on these guys so I wouldn't be surprised if natural, 1 guy looked huge for being same weight so he suspect lol
5:07 When he started posing I LMAO...that was similar to an SNL skit I remember back in the day with the synchronized swimmers...Martin Short and Harry Shearer.
Love the piss-take...but im sure the others who put in a tonne of effort were not too impressed. haha. Nice work Hamish, but still a little undercooked there mate. lol
