How do you like it so far? I'm getting mixed reviews from people. Some say it has the same mid-lane read and back end reaction as the original, but then some people have said it's lazy down lane. I'm torn between this or the RST from Roto Grip.
I'm 2 handed and was looking for something when my web tour doesn't kick out tens... I just won a ball of choice in a raffle and have a widow 2.0 coming!!!
@@BillyWunebuger honestly? Not a huge fan... On certain conditions I do but it's alot of ball and hard for me to find the right time to throw it being 2 handed. My buddy who is high rev 1 handed loves his on fresh
Black Widow Baby! I preordered mine a couple days ago and I can't wait til it gets here. The Black Widow Pearl from back in the day is still my all-time favorite ball. Hopefully it gets a 2.0 as well. My arsenal will be complete.
I just bought a 2.0 last week after years of not bowling and my God does this ball rip. The OG black widow was my favorite ball back in the day, am so glad they came back with the 2.0. Its just as good if not better than the OG widow, you can not go wrong with this ball!!
I got my original weight hole plugged. Never used it much but in tournaments. But bowled several 240s with it in league and several 700s the year it came out.
I just picked one up today and the deciding factor was he said same thing about bowling all games in league with the ball. My layout he put on it was 40-4.5-25. First ball I threw out of the box went over 10 and hit the dry and went left turn Clyde. I was like holy crap. But I started finding the pocket with it and was very impressed with it
I still have the original blk widow and actually just had to have it redrilled becuz i havent used it in 10 years thing still has tons of life left i love it
I got one of these in late August. It took a while to get used to it and for a while did really good, but lately it has become a straight ball, no hook unless I really slow it down, and this is with using a Bionic wrist brace at full cup. On old house oil lanes that are pretty much wiped out is when I see the most action out of it. Going on 6 months of use now. Yesterday I did a soak in hot water with Dawn soap to hopefully extract the oil out as I think it became saturated even though I use the Hammer recommended cleaner before each game or set. Will see if it brings back it's performance.
The cover on the original got beat-up pretty easy with chunks taken out of it . I hope they fixed that with this new one . Other than that , it was a great bowling ball . It just didn't last long .
