Here'd be my first tip. Don't lol. It's a means of delivering the ball that is extremely nuanced and feel based that it's hard to teach, and even harder to repeat. As a High School coach, I don't think I'd let a kid bowl the way I do. If you're taking your thumb out of the ball, it makes more sense fo 95% of bowlers to go 2-handed.
@bowlersparadise2255 haha so I went and practiced 1 hand no thumb and by the end of the second game I was bowling 2 hand no thumb. I agree 2 handed is way easier and helps more with my elbow problems.
Ben, Thanks for the interesting comparison on those great bowling ball. A question- a teammate switched from his Fortera Exile of 14 yrs to a Hustle RIP on his league house shot because of the 10 pin. It may be due to the silly season (holidays) & lane conditions but the RIP is over reacting on the back end & going back to the Exile hasn’t worked. He’s changed lines & balls but can’t get lined up. He’s pretty consistent in how he rolls it- any recommendations? Thanks !
I’d start by hitting it with a 3000 abralon pad. Lots of times getting it to slow down sooner will take off what it does down lane. If that doesn’t work, report back and we’ll try plan C
I have a track mean machine Looking to replace it I now prefer bowling without thumb As I am a high rev and use to keep them in but it is more comfortable with it out What would be comparable to my old ass bowling ball
I was not expecting this lol. If I had another one, it would be different. Also I may start bringing my own spray bottle for the fronts on review days 🤣🤣
@@bowlersparadise2255 yeah your center hooks so much, it would be really nice if you were ever able to put out a pattern that had at least 30 mls for these balls haha, but maybe on something you try soon do a 5 1/2 and it’d be interesting to see if that helps you get more on top of it like you like to.
No good reason???? How about trying to find ways to compete with Storm out on Tour. SPI dominates outside of EJ using Motiv. The 7 brands of Brunswick need more TV exposure.
