I have a question when water gets in the wall from rain or moisture from the concrete it will Rust the wire mesh and make it weak and brittle what have you done to prevent that
The wire mesh is made of G.I steel coated of upto 60gsm which protects it from the effects of rust and corrosion. We even use our panels at coastal/seafront properties and have faced no issues.
I couldn't find the exact prices, but considering an average price of a good quality EPS with 14cm thickness and the wire mesh(without cement) plus goodwill for quality standard and brand...it will cost somewhere $4-5 per sqft
The shotcrete mix on the eps wall is incorrect, it is too weak. This looks like max 15 mPa mix. It should be min 25 mPa mix. After that, then do the hammer test.
Styrofoam is made of XPS, both are different forms of polysterene. And while lightweight concrete is made using EPS beads mixed with cement. In this case, we make our panels with a solid EPS core, with steel mesh and concrete on either side. The EPS core provides thermal and acoustic insulation while the concrete reinforced with the steel mesh provides strength and durability. allowing us to create load bearing structures of upto 4 stories high.
