This idea is good in theory, but terrible in execution. The box isn't nearly sturdy enough to hold an adult cat's weight, and they will understand that... which is undoubtedly why you weren't able to film that cat actually climbing into the hammock!

But looking at my chair, I would make the hammock and attach it underneath. It saves space and is sturdy.

@@thecatchannle1988 my Bengal cats are bit big and they love to chew cardboard. Even though the cardboard may serve a young kitty but soon, the weight will draw the columns in and it will collapse to centre. I am in the building industry and can guarantee it will collapse unless the multiple cardboards are glued to one piece and a support wooden plank is us3d for each column and beams.

@@R2D2C3POSKYWALKER my cat would break the columns instantly when i go to pick her up off the floor its hard for me to get up. AND SHES ONLY 2

@@thecatchannle1988 you don't need to try it to know it won't hold......It can be doable if you have strong cardboard but they are expencive. It is much better to do it with some old chair

I'm thinking put some cut wood like firewood sticks in the corners to shore them up then wrap those plus the cardboard corners together with sisal rope to also make scratching posts. Put some hard board on the top and glue some carpet scraps to it to make it sturdier. Maybe make another wood box to go under it with one side that opens out to reveal a litter box hidden inside, with a hole for the cats to get in and out.

my cat is sneezing very often, sometimes it stops, but after some weeks it starts sneezing again....My cat are eating well, still love to play catch, bite play etc....It doesn't sees to be sick, and my other cat never sneeze...

Cats *do* sometimes catch a bit of a cold, but usually you will see a runny nose and watery eyes in addition to frequent sneezing. (My cat usually gets 2-3 colds a year, for a few days at a time.) If you're not seeing those signs, then maybe he's just more sensitive to dust or other allergens? It's also possible that your sneezy cat gets into dusty or dirty places that the other cat doesn't.

@@tyrroo but its weird, cause my cat have (at least) more than 7 years, but only one year ago that it starts sneezing, her daughter (6 years) never sneeze before, but there isn't any runny nose and watery eyes, and it looks healthy (sorry if my english its not that great)

Hmmm, she only began to sneeze about a year ago... can you think of anything that could have changed? Did you move? Buy a new carpet? Change to a different type of cat food or litter? New perfume or makeup? Start using the hot tub at a gym, with chlorine in it? Is it possible something got stuck up inside her nose, like a bug or a piece of fabric? Does she sneeze all day long? Or just like once a day? I'm not a veterinarian, so I can't help much more than that, sorry. Also, no need to apologize, your english is better than that of a lot of native speakers! :)

@@tyrroo thx :) and she sneezes sometimes only one time in a week but she also sneeze like 15 times in a hour (she did that 2times) And i also thought that was something inside her nose but it stops for a week/mounth or more... I don't think that we change anything in the house...

Like I said, I'm not a veterinarian (and it's always a good idea to take cats to a vet for a checkup once a year) but it doesn't sound like anything is terribly wrong with your kitty. My cat sneezes once or twice a month, and it's not a big deal. Sometimes they just get dust or fur up their nose and need to sneeze it out, same as people ;) I wish you and your kitties all the best. They clearly have a very loving owner who cares very much about them

Won't hold up. The box will break and the hammock supports will tear.

Hi, we can assure you the box has held up for us and our cat. You just have to use a sturdy box and make sure you don't cut the panels too close to the edge of the corners. If you have a particularly heavy cat, you may need a sturdier box, but this works for average size felines.

I think it is much more useful for kittens rather than adult cats as the cardboard can't support an adult cat's weight.
