Another great and helpful video Tony. This is the type of tutorial needed to help owners of the SKPro explore more possibilities of this keyboard and has been sadly lacking in support by hammond to promote this great product.Regards
Love everything about your videos (including the sonic richness of the recording, with headphones on it sounds wonderful). I would wish, however, that you show how to save the tweaked program/sound to user slot (not overriding the basic program/sound).
Tony, As a new owner of this keyboard, your videos are very helpful! Regarding the "overdrive", can that be adjusted at all regarding intensity level??I see nothing in the manuel Thanks
Tony, I just purchased the SKPro 61 key version and I'm extremely pleased with the organ module but the piano voices do not sound anything like yours at all. Is there something I'm doing wrong? It sounds very tinny with an extreme amount of reverb. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
I was literally just going to ask the same question for the same reason? Is it to do with the speakers may be? I'm playing through a drum monitor lol which probably doesn't help. The piano sounds a lot better through headphones though.
Great demo, frankly I tune in to Bonner to listen to Tony play. A question, though. Any chance that Hammond will develop an SKx Pro with dual manual 73 keys? The pianist in me wants those keys.
Very nice...thanks for the great demo. Question... does the damper pedal support half damping on the piano sounds? For example, will a Yamaha FC3A pedal give you half damping & a smooth release? Thanks in advance...
I just bought one of these and really like it. I also play the foot bass using the bass sounds. When I play the piano and use the sustain pedal, it works fine but it also sustains the foot pedals. I have tried thru the menu to take the sustain out of the pedals to no avail. Any ideas as to how to make it work right?
I have a Hammond SKX Pro that I recently purchased. The pianos in my unit sound NOWHERE near to this. Can some help me to configure them for these sounds? The sounds here are full and clear.....mine are muffled and less full.
Well, your SKXpro (or SKpro) is really the same as the one Tony plays. Why his sounds soo good and yours not? Well, this is in many youtube videos about synths: The sound is sent to a computer, perhaps a DAW. And there the magic happens: high quality EQs, effects and Exiters make the sound sparkle. It is part of the illusion.
Can changes in the Master EQ be recorded and saved, so when I power off the unit, and then power it back on again; it will remember the saved Master EQ settings?
the key bed of the SK Pro is a smooth waterfall. no perceptible lip edge. the edge is slightly rounded, just so as not to be sharp in glissandos. I love the feel of my SK Pro 73
