Very harsh comments by some here. LIGHTEN UP! First off, all new Hammonds are NOT 'clonewheels! They are a digital progression of the vintage organ. Any other company making their digital 'copies' of the HAMMOND are just that. They would not be building their copies if it weren't for the vintage electromechanical instrument in the first place. As far as the SK line, they are ORGANS FIRST, I bought mine for that reason only and not for the extra voices, you can always augment with another keyboard of choice as most professional players do. And the shitting comments?, thats a bit strong and all over splitting hairs on the sound engines in use. You have all the onboard 'tools' to made a Hammond your own sound, and it is up to the end user to leave the factory stock settings, or venture out and make it your own.

Going to have to stick with my Crumar, specifically the DMC-122/Gemini combo. Not as easy to use on-board, but the extra voices are much, much better. This clav screams "sampled." Clavs have really deep varied tones and this has the same problem as the Korg clavs--missing out on the warmth and depth behind the twang.

I think every digital organ should come in two builds. The version with all the controls above the keys like the SkX shown here and a version where all the controls are divided between the left of the upper manual and to the right of the lower manual, making the organ wider but less deep, ideal for stacking another keyboard on top.

IN THE POCKET the SKX has a built in ‘Leslie Emulator’. it’s alright if you don’t have one or you prefer it DI to a speaker or PA, but it also has the 11-pin Leslie output if needed

Mark Landes 2 sets of drawbars sk1 and sk2 only have on set but that's bout the only difference I see

Real deal doesn't include two strong blocks in a price, called "roadies" to help lug it around. I've been there, got NORD Stage 3, never look back. Actually interested in to purchase Hammond SKX as an option to carry two-in-one, instead of two separate keyboards. Cheers.

I cant find a single b3 that's under 10 grand, I'm sure it's worth it, but I'm ok with paying 7 grand less for something my ears cant distinguish from the real thing.

what kind of shit is this. the same engine vase III thats 8 years old! the extra voices sound like something from Best Buy $89 dollar keyboard! don't get hosed people!!!
