I use my melodian all the time because it's handy no bullshit for practice but also got a great feel on the keys and the other factor is that its an accordion with out the trouble of bellows,I've been putting off buying a bass melodian for a long time because the price is ridiculous in comparison,from my research every one is saying the reed speed is to slow,so it's very hard to spend the 300 bucks on something that should be 70,what I really want is a bass accordion, is there a decent compromise? because the cost says no.

where can you buy the Hammond Bass Melodian?...and it's probably not an amplifier: it's probably a preamplifier...

Less than $15 a key, not too bad 🥲 It sound nice though, I just wish there was more bass? The jump between the lower octave and higher octave sounds quite dramatic. It could also use some more volume in lower register. if the whole instrument were down an octave, that might be interesting. I would have liked to hear it plugged in, but thanks for demo
