On July 24, 2024, the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce held its Valor Award Ceremony to honor the exceptional merit and remarkable bravery of our regional public safety men and women.
This year five of our members were recognized for their life-saving actions during an apartment fire incident in 2023, CFD members: Firefighter Jonathan Best, Lieutenant Kyle Billips, Firefighter Ted Locklear, Firefighter Brian Para, and Lieutenant Charles Tilghman.
