To those charged moments on stage, when interaction spurs inspiration and the art takes over... Violin: Sri H N Bhaskar Mridangam: Sri Patri Satish Kumar Kanjira: Sri Guruprasanna Tanpura: Sri Vaidyanathan #abhishekraghuram
Ever smiling Bhaskar's playing violin is groundbreaking, exquisitely beautiful, a display of Excellance. It is something which is further inexplicable.I am 80 years listening this programme .
Namasthe. We are aware of Abhishek Raghuram s presentation. But in this concert the accompanyst seemed to be poojya ms Gopalakrishnan n such was Dr h n Bhaskar's presentation l know his maternal uncle n his father from my childhood who were both class musicians. Bhaskar's mother is also a violinist hence apart from the genes his shhe practice n coaching has elevated him to be front rank accompanying artist n also a soloist. The entire programme here is worth listening many times to ease ones mind n body n soul. Such is Carnatic music. Thanks to the organisers n presenters. So also my fellow listeners for your patience n time. God bless you all with all that u need. Namaskaramz. I am. Mandya baalu ೯೯೦೧೭೭೨೭೧೧ RTD asst treasury officer.
SuperTanam. You have brought out the essence of beautiful Hamsanandi. Each Swara is falling remarkably. H. N. Bhaskar is at his best. I would love to hear the full concert.
The Thanam segment gives a lot of opportunity to bring out new patterns for the artistes and to be different from others. This is what is happening here. But, there is an understanding of a structure observed by other artistes restricting themselves within the confines and playing within. I wonder who is right!!
Great Tanam. The violin playing was especially top notch. Needless to say the creativity of AR is boundless, and it shows again how good a musician he is in this Tanam. Just a layman observation, if someone can clarify. Between 9:50 - 11:10, AR deviates from the traditional notes of the raga and delves into some mishra notes. Is this a creative process or am I missing something here. I enjoyed this slight deviation from the main raga pattern!
The raga from nishada murcchana of Hamsanandi is Anandanatani, also named Indraranjini. I had composed a Tillana having shrutibhedam of both combined in 2014, dedicated to Indra, in one of the tough moments in my life. Needless to say the prayer was answered. :) Thanks for singing Hamsanandi in a way that brought me all those memories.
