It is said that the sport of Fencing was popular in Han Dynasty China. There were many dedicated schools and well known teachers of the sport. So let's take a look at these two swords from LK Chen, the D-Guard Han Jian and the Shield Guard Han Jian, to see how they fit in modern jianfa and jianshu, as well as speculate to how these swords were actually used over 2000 years ago!
