Take a drone for a bird's eye view of roughly 3 minutes through the educational buildings of the School of Engineering and Automotive of HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem, the Netherlands!
In this special university, we offer you education in the field of renewable energy, the energy transition, innovative recyclable product design, green mobility, smart and autonomous transport, gadgets, medical applications and high-quality mechanical engineering. And we research current, social issues that can be solved in part by smart and clean technology. Are you coming to study in Arnhem?
The courses you can take? Check out: www.hanuniversity.com/en/abou...
Your bird's-eye view starts on the parking deck at the HAN Campus in Arnhem by a self-propelled truck built to scale. Next, you fly down the corridor to the Automotive & Engineering lab where a number of test cars and the H2 Demonstrator can be found. Then you enter the section where you can find the road deck simulator. Students will then see you at work in a classroom of Embedded Systems and Electrical Engineering. We'll also show you a special presentation room and the loan centre of Engineering equipment plus supplies. Saves you from having to buy these tools yourself!
Afterwards, you'll whiz to the electronic work tables and rooms where you can work on a project with your fellow students. Next, you enter a modern roller-break environment and see Automotive students working on their own created fuel-efficient vehicles. You will also see an advanced engine room and machines powered by electricity and hydrogen. So you will enter a room where you can weld projects together.
You'll also be introduced to Smart Grid Tables and the HAN W@TTS Power Systems Simulation Room. You fly straight to a room where we test self-driving vehicles. And then you arrive at the room where student teams HAN Automotive Rally Team (HART), HAN Formula Student (HFS), HAN4L, HAN Hydromotive and the HAN Solarboat work on their own challenging (electric) vehicles. You'll next see more workspaces where students can work on study projects.
Time to fly out of the first education building and land on the square of the HAN Campus Arnhem. We then take a nosedive forward and fly at a brisk speed to the other education building, where you'll find the practical classrooms of Industrial Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Among other things, you will see state-of-the-art machines, such as a waterjet cutting machine, a vacuum machine and milling machines. Then you fly over the learning and trial environment Smart U-shaped Assembly Cell (USAC) through to rooms where many students work together. You will print 2D and 3D products in the FabLab before taking another look in a workspace where products made of wood and other materials are sustainably designed.
Would you like to take a look yourself? You can do so during our (online) Open Days or Open Evenings in November, January and March/April. For more information, please visit www.hanuniversity.com
You're more than welcome!
