My hand eczema is like on and off randomly. When it’s on, it gets worse ans worse even though i didn’t scratch it. Off is better but it keeps coming back. Help
Great information I also healed my hand excema whole foods plant based vegan, plenty of water to drink as well.I had I think TSW on my hands as at one stage they was bright red😱That passed and the only thing I don’t do is use soap on them, may sound gross sorry but I just use water and some aveeno to moisturise a few times a day.I wear gloves when peeling potatoes as they seem to make me itchy even now.I used to be so ashamed of my hands it’s so great to have “normal skin”hands now 😀
April Taf I used to never have hand eczema but now I do . And the only thing I changed in my lifestyle was washing my hands more lol. I’m going to try your method !
I couldn't wait to watch this! Thanks for sharing your tips. I am happy to learn that I am not the only one that gets itchy hands after handling potatoes. I seem to not get too itchy when they are organic but I have not done enough comparing to draw a conclusion. I am happy that your hands are healed because it's really painful to have eczema there.
Thanks for the tips, I've had hand dermatitis ever since I started doing the dishes which was 7 or 8 years ago. This lead to my hands breaking out and never healing since I was the only one that did the dishes in the house.
I used to have a dishwasher and my hands were fine but then I didn’t have one and washing dishes irritated my hands too and worsened my eczema so I have been wearing gloves up until now but we are now moving somewhere with a dishwasher and I’m so excited 😄😊 if you can I think it’s a great investment!
I have bad hand eczema, and I always feel like I'm the only person with it. I don't know really anyone with Eczema on their hands, and I'm always afraid to raise my hand in class, because I feel like the Teacher will see my Eczema. I constantly have Hoodies with longer sleeves so that I can hide it. I just wish that I can feel what it's like to not have eczema. I'm trying everything I can to get rid of it, but nothing seems to really be working. I am willing to try everything I can to get rid of it, i'm hoping that Ully's tips help..
@@jadegarcia8422 I found a really good hack that makes you stop scratching at night if you are a night scratcher like me. Take a pair of socks that you don't really care about, and I'm begging you make sure that the sock is clean, take the cream, slather it on, then gently put the sock over your hands, (this also works with a glove, but I recommend that you use socks, because your chances of getting an infection from sweating, and not letting it breath properly throughout the night is slightly lower) then spread your fingers out a little bit, and then find a comfortable spot for your hands, and then fall asleep. It will feel weird for a little while, and the first few nights, but it's worth the pain of it. My hands have gotten much better over the 3 days that I've been using this method. They've gone from really dry & oozy to just dry and a little bit oozy if I itch it throughout the day- that's another thing- DON'T itch throughout the day as much as you can. I know, the feeling to just itch is so strong, but if you itch and let it get bad again, then your defeating the purpose of you putting the socks on. I've cut down on my dairy, and that is helping a lot.
@@jadegarcia8422 No problem! I know how bad it feels to have eczema. And I'm happy to share any tricks I found helpful. Just another thing, (And this happened to me yesterday night), I decided to take a night off of having fabric on my hands while I sleep, and that didn't turn. I am now back to basically Square 1 again. Don't be too cocky on how good your skin looks when you wake up. It's not worth the pain to keep the sock off while you sleep.
Ive been watching your videos and its inspired me to start healing my skin! Ive had eczema and particularly hand eczema for all my life and have just stopped using steroid cream...nervous but feel comforted by seeing you go through this process, thank you!!
Cheers for the video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Franaar Alive Skin Formula (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for beating eczema minus the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my work buddy after many years got astronomical results with it.
Its consoling to see I'm not alone with this... I recently developed hand eczema and the bubble ones ...my doc suggested me to never use sanitizer again... But I still have it...it itches badly when I wake up ... I have been using different creams and ointments... Hopefully something works out soon
Same have to lotion up every time I wash my hands at school so it’s awkward when my friends ask why I use lotion so much and embarrassing when it flares up and it’s red 😭
Lovely Video! Apologies for the intrusion, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Quawen Card Cadaverine (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good one of a kind product for uncovering the technique to kiss goodye to eczema minus the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my m8 at very last got amazing success with it
Sameee. I use exederm, therapeutic CerVe, and glove in the bottle lotions. And if u can get a dermatologist and a prescription I recommend that as well
I've always been quite insecure about my hands - I love their shape- but they've always been so blotchy. As I was trying to better my skin on my face which meant using hot water, my hands had a bad reaction as well as the heat/cold being a factor. So, now I put some vaseline on my skin and then cream over the top. 2 days later im seeing an improvement but it'd be nice to see what else I can do.
I have dyshidrotic eczema that was triggered badly after half a course of antibiotics (amoxicillin). I had one or two blisters here and there prior, but this really made it worse. Parasite cleansing and heavy metal detoxing are important. Lymphatic draining as well. Hope this helps.
Nice! DMSO is great for heavy metal detox. I haven't even thought of that being part of the problem. I'm thinking mycotoxins might be a culprit in mine 😩
I also had a trigger from the same thing amox I started and my eczema got really bad.. then it got better and I started a new job in the lab and gloves me me a reaction to my hands but I no longer use them and found a solution but the rashes flare up and they never seem to go away for good, everytime it comes back it spreads more.. have you gotten rid of yours because I need help, what exactly helped you?
I burnt my hans down to the meat in places. I got them most of the way healed when I got a staff infection and took antibiotics. Well the infection cleared which has now left me with eczema from my finger tips to the top of the arms, the odd patch on the torso and from the top of the toes to the knees(really bad) and patches on my thighs. Almost unbearably itchy when the blisters come which waxes and wanes. Unfortunately I am a scratcher. Everything I have tried works well for a couple or three days then all hell breaks loose and I have an extreme reaction. Now doing things to heal the gut which is now giving some relief, nights are the worst as soon as you lay down.
Aloe Vera Juice ( or the actual plant) for a hydrating . Saturate hands then put on a cotton glove. Also a wee bit in a glass of juice, too. Perhaps adding a little bit more each day, but try to gauge it b/c it can effect your bowels big time!
I deliberately put my hand in hot water and scratch it until it bleeds cause i cant bear the itching its been 5 years since i had it and its increasing every year
I got hand eczema 15 years ago out of the blue. I'm wondering if this is becoming more common and why. After an allergy test the only thing that came up was peanuts but I seem to be reacting to other foods. Thinking leaky gut can be an issue considering everything is being sprayed with round up. Wheat and potatoes sprayed after harvest to dry. As far as maintainance it's freaking painful but I would only use gentle soaps like an olive oil soap if you're not allergic to olives. All the chemical lotions and soaps make my hands burn and I'm sure i'm not the only one.
The products I'd been using for years I was actual allergic to. Also most shower gels and some bars have ccocamidopropyl which aggravates eczema on the fingers. An allergy skin test revealed other things I was allergic to. Nickel was one! We touch things with nickel everyday!!
I don't think if you remember our last conversation where I said how my skin was affected stress. Now I visited doctor, he identified it as prurigo nodularis. After 15 days of treatment there is 90% of effect.
I am suffering from hand eczema On and Off for almost 3yrs. Whenever I use detergent or any cleaning agent, my symptoms getting worse. I am using Virgin coconut oil, halovate cream and moisturizer, these helping for better result.
I just got it from my new work...my hand always wet because of cnc cooling liquid ...and now have been 3 month since I got it..and spread in all my palm
ever since i was really young i’ve had this, i’m 13 atm with wrinkly and hard hands people often comment on my hands and for years i’ve been trying tons of different hand creams + medical creams etc i’m really struggling. i just want to be normal :(
if you hadn’t already i would go to a dermatologist. If you have then you should ask then for making your prescription more powerful. I did that and my really bad eczema got better. I also started to get allergy shots and it got better.
Im dealing with the same problem too and Im just 2 years older than you! it really does suck but handcuffs or gloves help a lot, especially at night if you scratch a lot then.
I want to share how I finally got rid of my hand eczema after 3 years finally! I changed my hand soap to cerave baby shampoo and body wash, you can add distilled water if you want to change the consistency, this is the only wash that I’ve research that have a lot of ceramides in it and ceramides are great for the skin. Also I used the cerave moisturizing cream for my hands and at night I would apply petroleum and then cotton gloves. If you need to use a hand sanitizer I use an alcohol free one that is fragrance free from babyganics. Also I make sure that I always put on gloves when I wash dishes or deal with any cleaning. Side note I first got hand eczema when I started to become a hair stylist because I didn’t always wear gloves while washing peoples hair so now I’ve learned my lesson. Hope this helps!
avoid complete contact with these veggies like 1.potatoes 2.okra 3.zucchini 4 green chilliies . chemical dish washing liquid and cloth detergent. and even harsh handwash liquid.
Thank you so much for this. The way you described your hand excema and the photos are almost exactly like what I am experiencing. It had only started a few years ago since I have been doing massage therapy and being exposed to too many balms and essential oils. I have been to the doctor a few times and all they do is prescribe me a steroid ointment which has only been a bandaid solution as it comes back after a week or so. I am trying to find the best natural solutions so your video helped a lot. May I ask, what kind of salt bath product did you use? And how long did it take for the symptoms to go away? Thank you!
If your hands are dry and gets red like mine apply pure butter on the area and around it maybe it works because it has oils i don't really know but it worked for me
Hi there ! I usually don’t wear them long enough for them to get irritated but you can also find those thin plastic gloves (biodegradable too :) ) that are a bit looser and might not be as irritating
How do you heal the raw skin on your hands? My hands are broken and flaking from steroidal creams. I use cerave healing ointment and cotton gloves to keep it from drying and hurting.. My hand excema started ever since I used cleaning products and it irratated my skin.
Hi daley, I think I only went through a (relatively) mild form of tsw so I can only personally speak for myself but from what I have gathered the way to treat tsw is similar to how you heal eczema. plant based whole foods diet, good lifestyle. And time...
Other things to soak with are epsom salts, bleach, vinegar. Yes bleach does work but make sure to get just the plain one without the scent and other additives. You can google the concentrations to use - it is very low so it would be like going to the pool. I actually feel that bleach works better than dead sea salt. You also don't need to stay at the sink, use a big mixing bowl and u can watch tv as u do it.
Great tips ! i had never heard of bleach though?? I actually find my skin gets better when I go in swimming pools (and lots of sunshine) so maybe this is a trick...
I have had eczema all my life, but only since two years I've had it on my hands, it's super annoying because a looot of things that you touch make it worse. For me the most important things are: - I use a steroid cream prescribed by my doctor (I know not everyone likes to use this, but this is seriously the only thing for me that really makes it go away, once it gets better I use it less and less) - Moisturize as often as possible. I moisturize my hands everytime I've washed them but also at other random moments during the day. I use a really basic cream for dry and sensitive skin. - Don't wash your hands too often! I know this is hard especially during the whole covid situation but I still try to wash them as less as possible, and preferably without soap. I also don't shower everyday, and when I do, I try not to shower too long. -Wear gloves whenever you're cleaning. I always have cleaning gloves in the kitchen for when Im gonna do the dishes, but also the thinner, disposable gloves for when Im cooking. - Then the last one, and I am not sure if this has actually helped (yet), but I take fish oil pills and horsemilk pills, because those are really good for your skin. Hope this helps for you guys as well :)
Yes steroid creams are one of the best BUT don't often use it. Coz steroid can actually THIN the barrier of skin and that is not good. You can use ointments or the Aveeno Dermexa Products. It was effective for me and also that skincare line was produced only for those people with ezcema....
Thanks for the video, oh god, that thing is not pleasant at all :(. I lived all my childhood without that thing but suddenly out of nowhere when I turned 20 just a few days after my birthday Literally it just popped up out in my lift hand. I'm living with eczema for almost 1 year now. one thing I noticed is the sun really makes it a LOT worse, I live in Egypt and it's sunny most of the year so it's nightmare so I have to wear gloves everywhere or I will suffer consent-burning pain for days. f or me the way is still long to understand Eczema but hey at least it's manageable!
Hi there thanks for your comment! Its quite common for eczema to reappear later in adult life after having had it as a child. Yes the sun (especially in very hot climates) can definitely aggravate a flare. Try bathing it in oat milk or the sea :)
I got my firstr eczema just now 2 days ago when it’s starts, I can endure the itchy but at night i accidentally scratched it and it goes itchy, this was my first time what to do, what treatment u put on hands
Go on ebay and buy some nitrile coated worker gloves. That helps you not do as much damage while you sleep. If you live somewhere really hot then it might not suit you. There are cotton gloves designed for this so why not use those? Unless those have some button at the wrist they will tend to fall off. I tend to not move much while i sleep so even during a night when not scratching I find i need to find where the gloves went when i wake up. So if you are actually scratching those will fly off really easily. If you don't want to invest in gloves, you can just put socks on your hands and try that.
Hi Sarah! You can use epsom sea salt as well instead of dead sea salt, I think epsom salts are also good for muscle soreness so slightly different benefits. As for dairy, I'm not entirely sure what the scientific reason is but dairy does have a lot of hormones and sugars that affect the skin, not just people with eczema but also acne and other problems too
