Hey! Nice! I've got a question. I hand feed magpies and they bite my hands and fingers most of the time, do you know why? If you do please let me know :)
Im not sure but id say either because you give them a reaction they find entertaining or because they are not yet comfortable enough to look and think... a bit like if you have a magpie inside.... if you scare it to much it will just keep bumping into the window but if you give it some distance (or if it becomes comfortable) it will figure out where the window is open and fly out fine.

@@1random.0 the second part was just a badly formulated version of: the magpie is still in a rush to get away and therefore not thinking clearly... (fear you know)
