Hand Forearm Orthosis / Supinator Support Brace - Application Instructions
At Pakistan Orthopaedic and Cosmetology Center a new supportive device is invented or created by Dr. Khaqan Jahangir Janjua to reverse the pronator deformity of upper limb to supination posture. We call this support as "SUPPINATOR SUPPORT BRACE (SSB)"
The most commonly used brace for pronator deformity is Wrist Hand Orthosis (WHO); which cannot control the pronator deformity.
With SSB, by keeping the elbow semiflexed forearm is held in suppination. This help us to better manage spastic pronator deformity along with employing other treatment modalities like botox therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and surgery.
