You’re using your van as a catering/coffee delivery.. Trev, I enjoy your videos ‼️ A fabricator can always use another shaping hammer ‼️ Thanks for your time explaining and demonstrating a rare skill.
Trev, great video again. You are going to use your restored Van as a coffee and cakes vending van. You are training to become a barista. I really appreciate the fact that you show techniques that do not require a large cadre of specialized tools. Thanks again for you great dedication to teaching. Cheers, from the USA.
The van is for catering. Remarkable material you share and you’ve developed into an excellent presenter and story teller in the video medium. Thanks Trev!
Good afternoon Trev, once again beautiful work. Your talent and expertise just amazes me. I learn every time I watch. Thanks for another grt video. You take care.
I really enjoy these hand skills of yours Trev. Now retired I was an old time city & guilds trained coachbuilder & later SHEQ QE in GRP composites & Resin mouldings in automotive & construction vehicles OEM suppliers to all major manufacturers both in the UK & world wide & I still learn new skills every day cheers!
Thank you Trev for spending time worrying about how we amateurs do our projects. All respect for your patience with the work you perform. World would be a better place if everyone would share their knowledge as you do. It doesn't get more exciting than when you let a panel from a Citroen DS occur at the screen. Magic is happening. I even imagine I could make a panel my own with your convincing advice.
If only I could spend about a week with you in the shop! I’m really looking forward to trying these techniques on my 1958 vw panel bus! Brilliant work mate! Yes PLEASE make more of these videos! Van is to “express your talent by serving espresso!”
lovely work Trev...just working on my daughters Freelander...repairing the sill for an MOT..old metal cut out, new metal patch fabricated...now onto welding it...Inspirational videos such as yours empower the 'home enthusiast..'..Cheers dude..
Sir, you are an excellent teacher. I knew you had it in you (you, probably, do not remember me asking to explain the process when fabricating a piece with sheet metal; you told me there were other that did that, and even gave me a name, which I did look up & subscribed to his channel. And here you are teaching us the process! AWESOME). Thank you
Can I love the video? Damn it, YT doesn't let me, thumbs up it is then! You sir, are a credit to the makers' community as the internet is long and wide! Also, I could swear the van is supposed to be for some catering purposes, coffee and this sort of stuff, I remember you doing an opening on the side of it.
Always a pleasure to watch your blog Trev 😁 I have worked in the trade for 30+ yrs and it is always good to learn new tips and ideas that can aid me and others in the trade of car restorations Keep up the good work Answer to your question is a catering van/ coffee and cake mobile With a great awning
Love the way your use simple hand tools, skill, and persistence to get a beautiful result! I believe that you plan to use the van for mobile food and beverage catering.
Amazing results. You are a true restorative master. I am going to continue to watch your videos until I learn how to shape metal correctly. You have saved me a lot of money sir.
I made the quarter panel ends on my old Chrysler wagon using the same method. Worked perfectly, tail lights fit better than factory. Great video Trev and well explained.
Nice work mate, when I was at a Ford dealer back in the late 70's a guy I worked with put a 1600e crossflow and a 2000e corsair box in a CA camper, very cool ride, four on the floor rather than three up the tree, when my bike was off the road he used to pick me up for work, it was great flying along at unusual Bedford speeds with the doors open, great memories, I hope you have plenty of fun in your Coffee & Cake catering van, all the best.
Ummm, Wow! Very important explanation about the use of the weight (I.e. - the I-beam piece) behind the edge being hammered! I wouldn't have thought of that ... until it was too late, of course. Excellent video on the process, Trev. Thanks!
Thank you‼♥️🇹🇹You are Awesome‼ I'm taking on the "Rust"oeration of my Dads Vauhall Cresta 68'. At first i was going just ty and stop the rust with a little first aid. Because I'm currently DIY ing a small home and funds $ ar being directed towards that. But then, i see blogs like yours .. without using a fortune in tools and.... 🤔. Im retired and multi skilled. Im so excited to start🤸🏽♀️⚒🗜 God bless you👏🏽🙌🏽
I just have to say this.... of all your videos, i enjoy more -the ones which show you how to perform metal forming, , far more than ones involving paint, bondo, etc etc. Just my 2 cents worth. Dont change a thing. Great teacher!
having fun cruising around with that nice van of course! and have nice coffee always with you if someone needs it. I missed the Johnny part and the awesome outro from the video :)
Trev, Gotta say that I quite enjoy your videos. I am not a body or repair guy by any means but have started a project on a 1964 Dodge Crew Cab which I found out on a ranch next to the Thunder Basin open pit mine. As it seems most projects start one gets into the repair and replacement of panels and realizes there's so much more than one thought. In my case repairs of rusted out panels which are so expensive that I'm trying forming a number of them. This is why I appreciate your tips and tricks in forming and replacing panels. Thanks heaps from the Rocky Mountains in WY, USA.
Yes another panel beating video!! I love these. I'm more into metal shaping than painting to be honest, but I understand that the video's are going to be about whatever needs to be done to get the mobile bakery finished. I watch the paint video's anyway, cause there always more than a few good tips/tricks in them... :)
That is amazing work, I can already weld thin material but I really have a lot to learn about shaping sheet metal. and so far you have the best channel on metal shaping.
you make it look so simple Trev. This reminds me of the lead work I used to do on the Watney Mann Pub roofs in London back in 1969-70 only lead is so much easier to mould and beat into shape
Since I don't have the funds or the space for the fancy metal shaping tools, it's great to watch you shape metal with the basic tools I have in my garage. Can't wait to try this out on my project! Thanks for sharing Trev from the U.S. Subscribed!
Trev, Yet another informative and well put together video. Excellent descriptions and great practical demonstrations. Your van is to be used as a mobile coffee shop/ catering business. I hope the success of this doesn't drag you away from producing these fantastic videos for us all to enjoy .
Once again extremely informative, I just need to remember all this stuff. Anyway I believe the bedford will be used as a sales vehicle for coffee and cakes at markets etc.
