I have the Janome 8000 from around 1989 and the 15000v3 for probably 8-10 years! You are the only one I have heard tell about the thread holder. It works great! I have learned a lot from your shows! Thanks!
Thank you sew much for your feedback! We will definitely continue to feature the Continental M7 as it's such an extensive machine; sew versatile! Happy Sewing!
Wow! Thank you so much for that very useful information about the hand sewing icon and those very helpful tips Re touching the icon at least three times for a slightly different look to the stitches, the upper thread and the arrow icon at the top. I must watch your other tutorials. I live in the UK, and have the M7 as well as the MC 6000P and a small Janome 301 that I take to workshops.
Yay! Thank you sew much for your feedback, Christine. I'll be uploading more of Celine's presentations this week, so be sure to subscribe to our channel and hit the notifications bell so you don't miss a post! Thank you for sharing the Janome love!
Merci beaucoup! I’m just seeing this five months later. 😊 I love your upbeat approach and the helpful tips for the M7. I am definitely going to try them out. I have had my Janome M7 just under 18 months and it’s had many problems from the beginning resulting in many trips to the dealer until the main board for the machine was replaced. I absolutely love how the M7 sews and all the space around round the head for larger projects as well as its terrific lighting.
I really enjoyed your lesson. I learned several new techniques that I didn’t know before. I will definitely look for your other tutorials. I have the M7 as well as the Skyline S6. I live in Texas, USA.
Hi Celine, I have Janome Continental M7. Today I was trying out specialtly stitches. I am so glad you told us about asking the machine 3 times to get variations on stitches. The question that I cannot find an answer to is: what is the red arrow on foot F for? How do I know where to start the needle on a straight line? Thanks
Congratulations on your fabulous new machine! There will be a Continental M8 workbook available down the road, but no date has been given. The CM7 workbook will help get you started though. Happy Sewing!
Thank you for the wonderful video. I am a quilter that recently purchased a Janome M7. I was not aware of the thread holder feature and find that information very helpful. Would you mind spelling the full name of the quilter Ellen that you mentioned in your video?
Congratulations on your new machine, Irene. Perhaps this article from our Janome Life blog will help explain the markings on the needle plates janomelife.wordpress.com/2019/08/12/glad-you-asked-that-what-do-all-the-markings-on-the-needle-plate-mean/ Happy Sewing!
Any Janome Dealer in North America will either have the workbook in stock, or can order for you. I'm not sure if Janome's around the world carry it, as well, be we do in Canada and the US.
@@juliethompson1370 no, the instruction manual comes with the machine. The workbook is filled with additional little tips and tricks and exercises to help learn the machine. You can learn and use the machine without it, but it helps as an additional resource.
