I HAVE OWNED MINe since March of 2020…had to get help with update and had it in sHOP once…aside from that have used it every single day…and LOVE THIS MACHINE. …I call my M7…MR.ED…Because it is a WORK HORSE…I have loved SEWING most of my 87 years …and did not think I could LOVE it even more…Well I do…SEWING IS SUCH A JOY…can’t even tell You…👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the great video. I purchased the M7 and would love to see more videos on how to use the machine. This is my second Janome machine but the first upscale Janome machine. I wish there was a Janome M7 Group to help new users and to have someone to ask questions.
I just got my machine set up and I’m going through all the presser feet that come with it. Your video helped convince me that this was a great machine to get for all kinds of sewing. I do quilting, home decor and crafting, and I can’t wait to get started sewing on it. Thanks for such a helpful video. I wish you made more and more and more showing everything it does!
It’s an awesome machine ❤️Love the large table top and throat space ! So many many wonderful features 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻still learning but loving the process. Thanks for your videos Ann
I’d love to show You how I have figured out how to have easy access to my feet…huge time saver…plus a make shift pull out shallow drawer for often used items etc…Can’t even tell You how much I LOVE MY M7… I AM 87 YEARS old and have had a lot of different brands of Sewing machines and this One for me is absolutely a SUPERSTAR…
I just purchased the Janome M7 and your video(s) are so helpful. Your presentation is so refreshing. You explanations are clear and I love that you provide samples and demonstrations on what you are presenting. Please do more on the M7! I would like to see the HP2 foot in action especially when you are starting to sew from a corner when stitching down binding. I would like to see a demo on adjusting tension and showing what a balanced stitch should look like on the top and bottom of fabric. Demo on sewing with specialty threads with the decorative stitches would also be appreciated.
Great video! Very helpful. I am looking to buy a M7 soon, but I have a question. Does it come with a written, paper manual? I have three Janome machines, and they all super manuals that are extremely helpful. Thanks for the video.
The machine includes a large foot control with a cutter pedal attached to it. You can use the start/stop key or the foot control for power. The knee lift is used for variable free motion. It does not control the power. Hope this helps.
Could you please give me the total width when the removable table is ATTACHED from one end of the table to the end of the machine. I would be most grateful.
Sure-the total width from the end of the table to the end of the machine is 34 inches providing 13" workspace to the left of the needle and 13 1/2" to the right of the needle. The depth of the table is 16".
Hello, there is now sucessor of 9450 on european Market, named 9580. What is better? M7 or janome 9480 Horizon memory craft with ASR automated Stitch regulator include ... for me hard to decide
We have the new 9480 in stock. It is the same body as the 9450 but is compatible for the ASR-stitch Regulator. There is an ASR kit that includes the closed toe, open toe, zig zag and ruler work ASR feet for the 9480. The M8 is due in any day now. It is the same size as the M7 but comes with the ASR standard and also includes the thumb wheel-my favorite feature on the CM17. The main difference will be the 9480 11" bed with free arm vs. the M8 13.5" flatbed with thumb wheel.
WOW!!! THIS MACHINE IS A BADDAZZ! LOVE IT!! I WANNA PLAY WITH THE BIG GURLS! LOL! WOO! HUNNY, I AM JUST A ROOKIE SEWER. I AM SITTING IN THE CORNER WITH MY MEASLEY SINGER 4411 HEAVY DUTY SEWING MACHINE! LOL! 😁
The M7 does not have a stitch regulator. However, I just set the speed control to a speed you are comfortable with and use the start/stop key. The M17 does have a stitch regulator.
I’m trying to shoot some video of quilting on this machine, the lighting is so intense my hands and stitches are blinded out. What kind of lighting are you using at your store please?
These two soft box lights are great and quite affordable and we use them all time → amzn.to/3g4hxEd We also use this combo which provides very soft light and gives you more control C stand → amzn.to/3fIZAwa Parabolic Softbox → amzn.to/3uHCp9P Light → amzn.to/3cb6ZC8 Your camera and lens choice and settings are also very important. We use the Sony A7SIII → amzn.to/3wT2rrZ With the Sony FE 35mm lens → amzn.to/3fNII7o These are all Amazon affiliate links that help out the channel. Let me know if you have any other questions!
I’m trying to sew a minky blanket it’s making a clumping sound and not feeding through. I paid full price and only had this machine for 2 months. Any help would be appreciated. I’m using high performance acquired straight foot. Thank you
Do you mean the Acufeed foot? Be sure that it is properly engaged. Also, you need to select the Acufeed icon for straight stitch or turn on the manual dual feed if using a decorative stitch. Which stitch are you using?
Linda, You need to check with your local dealer. There was a special blue limited edition quilters collector's series available for Internet sales at $5999. You will want to check on dealer in store pricing on the silver machine. We would love to have you visit us.
I am very surprised as none of my M7 owners have had any problems. However, if one of them had that much trouble I'm sure Janome would replace the machine. I would ask your dealer to check on that.
