Yes to the mini version! A resounding YES!!! I received mine not too long after you posted it for sale. I'll go back to his website for the pencil case. It really does make a difference when I choose to bind the papers. Hugs from Villa Rica, GA! ☀🌴🏖 P.S. I would absolutely love the mini version that fits a quarter sheet of letter-sized paper! I'd be able to leave it in my purse and the regular-sized in my backpack.

I would love the Handidesk 3 magnetic clip design if it also could open up like version 2! The optional clip is amazing, but I would prefer not needing to dump everything out to get new papers or my archive.

I like that magnet one where you can clip the paper on, reminds me of a clipboard.

version 3 for the a6 punched paper looks very useful, smaller to fit in a day pack better - cool designs

The new HandiDesk you’ve shown here I love even more than the initial one! They’re all so nice. I’d like to see the prototype that is still under construction in shop someday. The small size and magnetic hold would make for ease of carry and convenience when traveling. 👍🏽

Just received my desk 2. Bought it as a gift for somebody and they absolutely love it.

I'm constantly testing out different notebooks, tools, methods, and office supplies. VERY interested in trying out the handi desk!! I'd buy one :)

Hi Joe, How are you? I'm from Brazil, I've made my own handidesk, similar to the first version. The way that I hold the paper and the pencil inside it is putting an eraser in the entrance. Thank you for this amazing creation, I love this third version!

Wow! Very cool stuff; I think both of those sizes the three as well as the two are just fabulous. Sometimes I want a bigger sheet sometimes I want a smaller sheet. This is been so fun watching this evolution. Thank you!❤

Oh my goodness, this is EVERYTHING! I could actually see myself even more so using either of these HandiDesks in either size! 😄 You guys should definitely consider manufacturing the smaller version with the magnetic clip... as well as a magnetic clip for the larger sized HandiDesk as well!

I'm super into the handidesk 3 design, but the 2 does offer more broad use value to me. The A5 paper makes longer poems, stories, detailed technical info, etc. more possible without getting lost like I do every time I try to flesh out a song in one of my little field books

These are really neat. I’d love one but I’d stop using it after a month. Over the years my ADHD enticed me to buy 3 different binders, 2 fixed ring notebooks, 11 A5 hard bound notebooks, and file folders with copy paper. Each one is gonna be the one I use forever! 🤣

I like that magnetic clip that's able to secure the paper. But I had an idea back when I was commenting on your Handi Desk 2 that perhaps you could incorporate some kind of spring-loaded drawer. Any drawer may have its own draw backs (lol) in that the drawer compartment will be smaller. Still, if you do go down that road you may as well incorporate its own little pencil compartment within the drawer. Or perhaps you could already do that with that magnetic paper holder you're using on your new mini handi desk.

I didn't get in on the first batch, but this video was just what I needed to secure my spot in the second batch, though the demonstration of Version 3 almost had me holding out. But I can wait no more! I'm already thinking about modding it with the addition of two rubber feet to not only raise it at an angle, but also prevent it from slipping on a tabletop. I'll be sure to put it through its paces before any modifications.

I am quite interested in the HandDesk 2 and the Handdesk 3 min but right now its a bit to expensive for me (coupled with the fact that right now I have a sedentary life). I do appreciate the fact that the acrylic is expensive and that the material can't be used effectively, and applaud the idea to use the material to produce smaller variants. I like A5 paper for my notes in general but the Handdesk 3 mini would be very useful to me as a (archaeo)botanist/entomologist. Currently I use an A6 notebook to write down information in the field when I collect specimens for my reference collection. The notebook and pen are sometimes hard to find amongst the dozens of paperbags in my bag. I am at the point that I am going to do away with my notebook and in its stead I plan on creating a template (with all relevant information I need to collect) for A4 paper that I cut out. So the Handesk 3 mini would be great to store the empty collection cards, my pen and I'll have an surface to write on whenever I am in the forest, field or city. I'll keep my eyes out for the mini!

My Handi Desk 2 came in and I've been using it for a couple of days now. Such a simple product but I can think of many ways to use it. I prefer using loose leaf paper so that I can more easily integrate my written notes into my digital archive system. The surface is so smooth and makes writing with my fountain pens even more of a joy. I love how I can angle it however I want by propping it up on objects on my desk. Maybe you can design an attachment or stand that can turn the Handi Desk into a stationary writing slope when sitting at a desk? Again, I absolutely love this product and its design.

If you added a little kickstand so it could prop up at different angles that would be really cool!

An interesting system. I still haven't found the right system for myself. I love binding my own books but I always end up with my notes all over the place. A project page here then another one 10 pages later, pages of recipes scattered throughout. I wish there were a way to rearrange bound books without relying on ugly ring / disc / spiral bound books. I'll figure it out one of these years.

Handidesk 3 pls. I'm predicting ya'll are going to make a ton of money.

Hey Joe, this is so exciting seeing this project move along. i wonder if the storage area for the paper could include a clip (like the ones that clipboards have)? Or a rubber band or something to hold the papers down while they are inside. That way, the paper will be secure. Else when you opening the handidesk, the paper won't be all over the place in the event a gust of wind comes along. An A5 size would be great for me. I'm so looking forward to see where this goes.

I tried to purchase the Handidesk V2 and, unfortunately, it only allowed a PayPal payment and I don’t have PayPal. Hopefully they’ll be sold again and other forms of payment are available!

Hello everyone! I have a question, and hopefully someone will have the knowledge :) I have a 1951 Underwood Finger Flite Champion portable, and the lowercase letters are beautifully clear and strong, but the uppercase letters appear faint. Does anyone know how to fix this?
