With the Acetone ink, as long as the metal is not greasy, it dries in a few seconds and does not rub off easily. You can see when I rub the steel pipe here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oih7kKnp0s0.html . Water does seem to effect this ink. With this current ink, the UV will deteriorate the print with time.
We tested the acetone ink on clothing in a video here...ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XbfUk9_nSPA.html The ink will not last forever but it did last for one washing in our trial.
We just got one of these at my workplace to stencil high-pressure cylinders. Can you turn the letters so they're printing up and down? We haven't even really tried it yet.
@@musiccalgary I'd like to forward him to the correct technical center for this answer. EBS is international so if he's in Germany or Poland or USA, Canada etc. I would forward to the appropriate manufacturer rep.
Hi Ahmed. Sorry for the late response. You can contact EBS headquarters to find a dealer near you in Baghdad. ebs-inkjet.de/contact-ebs-ink-jet-systems/
Hi Erhan. Technically yes but I don't think this won't be the right tool for TShirts. You can ask a rep in your area to do a test print for you. contact www.ebs-inkjet.de/english/kontakt.php for a local dealer.
Hello. I'm looking for a product to mark rescue equipment on a boat that can withstand being exposed to wind and weather. Does this product make to withstand a tough maritime environment?
With time the ink will fade and or be removed. Salt water would likely be a problem. I would suggest contacting your nearest EBS rep to do some test printing for you ebs-inkjet.de/deutsch/o_firmie.php
Hi, we need a portable printer that can print a brand name onto a large protective product made of 160gsm PE tarpaulin. Requirements will be: i) needs to be able to handle large scale of over 1,000 prints, in the future probably a lot more than that; ii) it needs to withstand some rough treatment when the item is scraped against a rough or uneven surface; ii) ideally it would be able to print the brand name at around 20" long x 4" high; iii) be ok in very hot or very cold weather so no cracking; iv) print with clean edges, no bleeding. Would really appreciate your recommendations for this? Thanks so much.
Hi Stephen. I really do not know of any portable printers that will print 4" high. I would say that you will need to "stack" several print heads together to get that size and it will not be a portable printer. You would need to use inline/stationary printers to do this and you will still need some movement for them to work, so like on a conveyor or you will need robotics of some kind to move your products. Where are you located?
There are many variables so that question is tough to answer. The different surfaces, temperature, UV, rain, cleanliness of surface etc will affect differently. For a general answer, if clean, dry and oil/grease free, the ink can stay on outdoors for 1,2 or 3 years but no guarentees and we suggest getting test prints if your dealer can do that for you. Where are you located?
Hi. Yes, it can print basic low resolution logos. Remember, it is Dot Matrix print and there is a max of 32 jets (dots) high. You can see a few logo videos here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PDcHCxTqT5Q.htmlsi=vehebBd6opLxry5x ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zfZ8n-rWLFc.htmlsi=ll3x7bvgzr4go9t_ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H17PJumDduA.htmlsi=OlpketMUjTvd60hB Price will depend on your location, here are our prices in Canada shop.neumannmarking.com/collections/ebs
It is fine outdoors in the UV, snow, rain etc. Our tests have been good for 1-2 years for sure but I cannot guarantee. You'll have to test yourself as there are many factors.
Hi, I'm from Indonesia. May I know where is the nearest dealer i can find ? And does the handjet break the phosphate-coated layer on the pipe coupling ? Thanks
@@johnnydank Sorry for the delay, I didn't see this question! It is not permanent if outdoors. There are many factors like weather, UV being the main one. If indoors it can last very long. Some of our testing on painted metals and concrete are up to 2 years. There is no guarantee how long the ink stays legible.
Hi LaVerne. You can contact EBS USA and they can connect you with a local dealer. Please tell them Clint from Neumann in Canada sent you! www.ebs-inkjet-usa.com/contact
No it won't be permanent. There are many factors but you can get more of an idea from this video where we used several printers and did one wash...ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XbfUk9_nSPA.html
@@charleshetrick3152 Sorry for the delay, this comment slipped through the cracks! The adhesion is great as long as the surface is dry. The acetone ink dries in about 2-5 seconds.
Neumann Marking Solutions/Neil Neumann Sales Ltd. Pelican cases are notorious for not accepting inks paints or stickers. Don’t figure you’ve tried it specifically on one of those?
@@charleshetrick3152 good question! I don't think we have. Was it just for a temporary message? Where are you located? Maybe a dealer near you could test it?
Neumann Marking Solutions/Neil Neumann Sales Ltd. I’m in Tacoma Washington, if there’s somebody local I’d be happy to provide a test medium. Common knowledge, largely from the automotive industry, says to heat up the surface to “sweat” out the release agent and quickly wipe it off with an alcohol soaked rag; then in my case apply a stencil and spray paint. It is a pain in the tukus. I’m hoping it might be that the acetone in the ink will help adhesion.
Yes Santosh. But just remember that the bottom encoder wheel has to roll. You may also need the pipe attachment (shown at the end) to give you a tighter print area.
You will have to find an EBS dealer in your area. Where are you located? Here are our current prices in Canada. shop.neumannmarking.com/collections/ebs
Very prominent. It works great, just beware of any oils or residues as they will afffect the adhesion and durability. We do test prints on products for our customers here in Canada. Where are you located Sergio?
ebs-inkjet.com/english/kontakt.php You will have to contact them directly. This was translated by Google Translate. आपको सीधे उनसे संपर्क करना होगा। इसका अनुवाद Google अनुवाद द्वारा किया गया था।
Well technically yes, it will print on t-shirts but they are very expensive and I wouldn't think this is the right tool for that. Where are you located Ingra?
These are not meant for high res printing. I have not seen any other portable inkjet printer that prints at this letter height. Very unique inkjet printer.
Yes on foil, I'm pretty sure it could print on balloons but could be tricky due to the encoder wheel. Depending on the size you need, you might find a Reiner inkjet printer would be better- see our other videos 😀.
