Installation of the SW-Motech handlebar risers on the 2019 BMW R1250GS. This is no accessory. This can be a game changer. It can increase rider comfort by providing a more upright riding position and that can also improve rider safety. These specific handlebar risers increased the height by 40 mm.

Great vid - only comment is prior to tightening the hex bolts up fully - if possible take the bike carefully down the street to get the handlebars the most comfortable you want - then final screw down 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks for the feedback. Always appreciate hearing it. I'm a wee bit of a safety nut, so I'd tighten, test ride, adjust, test ride till I got them just where I want them. Have fun and ride a ton.

Did you look to see if you brake/clutch cables are now a bit too tight? Mine were so I had to remove the forks from the fork plate and move the cables to the outside. Looks good!

I would agree. On both this bike and my previous 2009 GS, all the SW-Mototech accessories stood the test and were worth adding to the bikes.

How much extra height did you get? 30 or 40mm? Also, did you need to move the cables to the outside of the forks? Much appreciated.

Some info on tightening sequence and torque values would have been useful. This video has limited info and potential
