Handmade Textile / Polymer clay ooak doll ( Sad harlequin Vasily ) DIY tutorial 

looks like something you'd see your grandma pondering over at some antique convention, then take it home and put it beside those lacey porcelain dolls and witchcraft stuff she says isn't witchcraft cuz she goes to church

i think this taught me what i want my art to be. intentionally not perfect, highly detailed and textured, and overall a pure form of creativity.

Everything on this doll is so detailed and exquisite but my absolute favorite part was the beaded bodice...i have never seen that technique before, it is beautiful ✨

I watch RU-vid on tv and start with a search and just let it go where ever. When this started I didn’t think I would like it but I was doing something else and didn’t change. I would glance up very so often then it really caught my eye. I started it over and it turned out to be one of the most wonderful things I’ve seen. The clown is so gorgeously creepy and scary beautiful all at the same time. Your mind goes to beautiful, unusually twisted places. A beautiful clown created by a beautiful mind.

The sad people are usually the nicest and most understanding but they hide behind a smile

I've just found your channel & want to say that I admire your work. The theme you have, that I can't quite explain, for your work is very similar to what got me sculpting in the first place. Although many people would call it creepy or weird, I think it's charming. This is a gorgeous creation. I just finished a couple polymer clay elves on a similar style body. I am a seamstress and struggled with using the hand-dyed cheesecloth to ‘dress’ them instead of sewing. I admire your ability to figure out how to wrap, tuck, glue the clothing to make it look natural. I do so adore the Pierrot style clowns and yours is beautiful and quirky at the same time.

This video appeared in my recommendations a few weeks ago and I keep coming back. I haven’t seen much art like this and it is exactly the style that I love. I haven’t felt motivated to do art in such a long time, but this , along with your other videos, has inspired me so much. I aspire to be as skillful and creative as you are. This is wonderful and thank you for sharing.

I bought some of the most amazing fae dolls last Christmas for my bestie. I've been trying to figure out how they've been made ever since. There's no way to contact the artist. I don't know who even made them. I bought them second-hand from a local Boutique. The owner should have known who made them but didn't. Anywho, this has helped me massively in my search to uncover the art of doll-making! I've been looking for blank doll bodies all these months! Now I understand she never used a fabric pattern. Then filled them. Everything was done by hand! So many tiny little details. I wish I could post pictures! They are beautiful pieces of Art! They are truly alive! It's been a joy and inspiration to have them! It's been wonderful collecting new things for them. Its an even greater joy to create for them. They have their own worlds. I wish I could afford to buy these pieces of Art! The I found locally were a gift from the universe. I will have to try my hand at this to have one for myself. I'm just nervous to create the body. Especially the face! My attempts at manifesting one for myself hasn't worked. So I'm jumping into the deep!

Also I love how the doll is creepy but the music is joyous, like a life just being born into this world but with a face only a mother could love.
