The craftsmanship, tools and processes needed to produce a Brooklin model are substantially the same as what the jewellery makers use for the jewels. The big difference instead is, of course, the raw materials: white metal and some small parts in resin are not precious as silver or gold. Producing a single model require many hours of work of very skilled personnel.

@@danroz66 I am much more than an experienced model collector and model maker myself and I take custom orders on 1/43 and 1/24 builts, so I know how much it takes to make these models and I do appreciate all the efforts put in to make it possible. For entry level collector or people who's been playing with Hot Wheels, these are amazing and next level for sure. But for serious collectors who not only appreciate an accurate replica but also the history behind it, these models start to fall short on details. The casting and post processing of their cast parts are not precise enough, the interior feels too plain and do not make connections with the actual material whether it was leather or polished chrome, the chassis has basically Hot Wheel style details which are ambiguous and non-realistic. Transparent parts such as the headlight, please, take a look at how brand like Make Up/Eidolon makes their bowls and lens... or even the cheap minichamps does a better job on their newer releases. When I take a custom order, I wouldn't mind using 3D metal printing and high precision gold foil printing to get things right. And again, I don't call my work Jewelry-Like. Maybe we have a different understanding of what's good jewelry craftsmanship too.

@@ExKUKicker Starting with some 1/43 Eidolon/Make Up models. Very well made, overpriced, and setting the high bar for other makers. When you have a fair amount invested (20K+) and still feel like unsatisfied with the level of sophistication they offer, we can talk about custom works. eBay is fine for a Minichamps or a BBR, but it was never ideal for custom model works because it’s the last platform people can learn how to appreciate.

My Asian friend, I was invested at that dollar amount 30 years ago...let's talk Mr. Franklin with a few more zeros on the end of such a figure...when you get to that level, I might allow you to commission a few customs for me. Otherwise, I'm guessing that your skills are overhyped and, probably not worth the $1,000+ that I'm sure you are asking per/model? Ebay, atleast allows you to show your skills in model making, if they truly exist? Best Regards!
