▶Do you wanna create your own music, but sometimes get stuck in the process? In today's handpan lesson, we start from a short and very simple idea and see how we can develop it into a proper little composition in 4 steps. These concepts can be integrated easily, no matter if you're a beginning or more experienced handpan player.
I release handpan lessons every week, let me know in the comments if you have a wish for a future topic to cover.
Level: Beginner to Intermediate

I am 71years old and I have bought a handpan, never having played one before. I have just watched your video and was amazed how quickly I picked it up. When I saw the introduction I thought there was no way I could play that, but after 30 minutes I was not only playing it, but playing it fast and with fluidity. I just can't believe how great it sounds. So thank you very much for giving me the confidence to now carry on!

This was such a good one !!!(the previous too, of course).........but this is soooo helpful especially for beginners. Thank you! Maybe you can make another one on transitions with pattern-changes. Where the rhythm from one part to the other is changed completely. Once you want to create longer compositions you can't do other than create nice rhythmical variations to spice up the piece and make it interesting from the beginning to the end. Without being too jazzy.......little surprises in a composition are so nice, but it is hard to make transitions that will connect the parts.

That "subtle clicking sounds" noise, I can hear in many of your videos, is that how the ghost notes sounds on your pan? I thought it's a metronome.
