I was getting tired of all the different off the shelf phone mounts that eventually fail after while, I've tried suction mount, sticky pad suction mount, vent mount, 3M adhesive mount, rearview mirror clamp mount, cigarette mount, cupholder mount, the list goes on. For this mount I reused a section of an old mount I had, took off the sticky suction mount part, and bolted it to my dash with bolts, lock washers, washers and nuts. Almost zero chance of this mount failing, I can still see my clock and don't block any vents, and the viewing angle is perfect! Quick 10 minute free DIY job!
