Ghost Platoon, the novel, describes JDAM like smart mortars with HE warheads coupled with small POV drones strapped to the soldier's backs which act like surveillance and targeting system. Published in 2019 and an exceptional read. Worth my 8 bucks or whatever.

Great video presentation. One thing you didn't mention is that Manual mode is not available with the Motion Controller. I've had mine for over 6 months and it's still as fun as it was back then. And I'd recommend buying the Motion controller too. There is NOTHING like flying with it. If you can imagine being a Fighter Pilot then this is the gig for you! Well worth the two bills in my opinion. Sport Mode is a blast!

I love my DJI mini 2. I love taking photos and videos with it but I feel like I need a more immersive experience flying. I definitely want one lol I watched many crash tests too and the FPV looks durable not that I’ll crash though 😂

We have the same backpack, I love that thing! I carry my Mavic, spare batteries & a laptop in it & don't worry about a thing. I think it even has room for an FPV drone...

The reason of not have 3 axis gimble is, it can give you more immersive feel of flying. You cant feel exitement on perfectly stabilized drone shots

This should come with one headset and two drones. Cause you know the first one is going to get splattered.

How good is the view through the googles? On youtube you only see the recorded video, would i be disappointed with the googles? even though they are the best out there? I've never used and so I feel I might be underwhelmed in real life!

Man! I need one of these sooo badly!!!!! I just can’t fork out that amount of ££££Sterling at the mo. If anyone in these comments has taken the plunge, how is it? I have been flying an Air 2 for around 6 months, and despite being a newbie with much to still learn, I really want one of these beauty’s just for the pure fun of it. I’ve NEVER flown anything in the realm of FPV. How’s the learning curve coming from only even flown Mavic? It’s too tempting to just get one and worry about my overdraft at a later date. Anyone who’s actually got one, & thus has true hands on knowledge, what’s your feeling about this amazing little piece of tech. How sturdy is it as I’ve heard from few different people that no matter who or what, there WILL be crashes. It’s apparently just part of the whole FPV journey lol. It’s a lot of money to crash into the ground or wrap around a tree lol. And finally….. could anyone drop me some decent links of any videos at all, that is purely DJI FPV in flight, no talking or tutorial/ review. Just the flight! I’ve watched loads but there’s always more. & I found a vid of a guy flying through a train tunnel and around a windmill etc that was the best fpv flight handling I’ve seen, but I mustn’t have subbed and haven’t been able to find it since. Cheers for anyone who replies, and thanks to the guy doing this vid as it’s a really good, short & ‘straight to the point’ bit of advice and explanation.

Well, if it's a racing drone, then presumably you will need someone to race. And, the drones would need to be customized to differentiate them: colored tail lights, body paint, etc. Maybe someone will organize racing leagues?

How does this headset compare to the original Mavic capable dji headset I never thought the original headset was that great visually. Can this headset work with an OG Mavic pro

Leave it to DJI to implement the most expensive FPV camera setup with a digital camera and gimbal, then completely forget that in FPV we need some sort of camera protection - most expensive crash ever. lol

I think I would enjoy this but a stereoscopic view would be better and I could do a lot more with a VR rig for same price.
