Just a quick hands-on look at the new gold color that was released alongside the brand new Apple Watch Series 6. It looks like Apple did away from the brassier gold into this shinier gold that appears to be much more reflective as compared to the previous gold. As a matter of fact, both this new gold and the new Graphite at times look just like the regular stainless steel.
I totally dig the new color and am sure many will be pleased with its allure and luster.

The previous rose gold-ish gold looked quite a bit nicer IMO.. the yellowish gold looks like real gold but also quite edgy.

I just got my series 7 gold Apple Watch with the Milanese loop and I love, love, love it! It is so gorgeous in person. I thought it would be tacky or too loud but it is stunning in person. The gold is the same as the series 6.

I much prefer the new gold and this video makes the case. I’m glad I ordered the new gold SS. It was hard to justify, as I have the SS 5, but I really wanted the pulse ox, so I opted for gold this time. I tried on the gold SS i5 last year and straight up hated the bronze tone against my pale peachy skin. Just blah. Can’t wait to get my new one in a few days. C’mon fed ex.

Now I need to see it with bands. This new color is what I thought I wanted my old gold to be... more yellow, but the old gold grew on me SO much (even though I don’t think red looks good with it (too Christmas theme) just about everything else does). I’m about to fill a folder with bands and go to the apple store and see how they mesh with this new gold. My first encounter did indeed suggest it will be harder to match to my 70+ bands and growing. Decisions decisions.

I prefer the old rose / coppery gold. I believe that for the upcoming iPhone 12 Pro, Apple will switch to the yellow gold. That’s one of the reasons I watched this comparison. I don’t like yellow gold, but It only slightly bothers me and I’ll probably end up with it anyway. Btw, You’re watch band B-rolls are like tech accessory porn. I love it.

Pacific Blue band matches well with gold with good contrast. But since I already have the brass like gold, which I like very much, I opted for Graphite Stainless Steel version. I also sold the titanium series 5 coz the anti fingerprint coating is easy to be scuffed and I don’t wanna polish it.

@@AaronBowley Bro, I feel the exact same way. I use to make fun of the idea of having an apple watch. When I broke down and got the apple watch 3 back in the day, I got so use to it that when it was off I felt naked and always looked at my wrist for the time. And so many other things like reading text messages real fast or replying by voice to someone. Man it is just a very handy tool. I just upgraded to the six a few minutes ago, just ordered it, I have had the 4 black stainless steel since it came out. I love it but its time to upgrade. I decided to go with the stainless steel.

@@a.d.c7941 yeah i never had used one and then my friend had me borrow theirs for a day to track my heart rate and then i decided to buy one and yeah its so minor but its so cool to know who is talking to me or get an alert without having to stop what I'm doing or respond or whatever. and yeah always on face just pops in such a cool way i feel more myself now that i have this cool digital screen on me with all these cool features. its like that first step towards becoming a cyborg :D

Turning my wrist to get it to turn on does not always work. It gets annoying. Tmrw I should have he new one. I am excited about it. I do prefer the older coppery gold as it looks more rose gold! Same colour as the gold edging on my iPhone XS Max..☺️..I just bought the Series 6 recently in Titanium and it's already got these strange tarnishes on it despite me having a soft case on it the entire time?? Huge mistake and very disappointed..I'm returning it as can already see it's going to get tarnished and scratched really easily. So thinking I'll get the gold stainless steel..
